A Billion Canadian Dollars to Protect Bankers at the G20 in Toronto

Why would bankers, economists and accountants
require that level of protection?

Let me see if I have this right. An RCMP spokesman goes on camera (on the national Canadian news) and states that the security effort / police plans for the G20 do not perceive any terrorism threat, but rather that the expensive security precautions are in place for "demonstrators".

(A BILLION DOLLARS to thwart concerned people with slogans, chants (even the "Canadian anthem) and home-made signs on sticks!! OMG ... prepare for the end of the known world! )

I used to be proud of my commendation ... however such inane comments as that make me wonder about what it's really worth and why it's still on my wall!

Last time I checked I had at least better than room-temperature IQ. Despite that; I'm expected to bob my head and swallow that 'official' statement? And on top of that ... accept such an obscene expense by people who don't even generate the money they squander?

Let's be clear ... a uniform does not mean intelligence ... it represents 'obedience' to higher internal authority ... and that 'authority' does not imply wisdom necessarily ... more likely compliance to (complicity with) some agenda set at the political level. So much for the pat, 6PM news statement ... he had to say that!

That among other G20 events can't help but generate serious questions for me ... because I am a critical thinker.

Being the 'critical thinker' I am, and having watched events at the G20 on the net, I am inclined to start a collection ... and hopefully that collection can raise enough money to buy Toronto one tow truck and one fire engine ... it seems they desperately need both! Before you go thinking that I'm 'generous' ... I'm not ... I simply do not like litter that attracts vermin, which was the case in Toronto!

OK, here are the details behind my thinking.

A police car gets abandoned in downtown Toronto. Electrical failure, carburetion issues, low tire pressure or maybe just a doughnut stuck in the CD player ... whatever the reason, it was abandoned at a major intersection in the downtown core and presented so little of a hazard to safety that police tactical units backed away from it in the face of an ominous column of marching protesters ... protesters armed with chants, slogans and home-made signs on sticks!. And there it sat, and sat, and sat ... for several hours ... because Toronto clearly does not have access to a tow truck!

Now here comes the vermin part ... after several hours the abandoned police car was attacked by several Black Block (idiots) "Anarchists" who needed to relieve their pent up frustrations after a window breaking spree throughout downtown Toronto that was apparently too sophisticated for a billion dollars worth of security to deal with!

The “anarchists” attacked the abandoned car with high-tech hammers & other blunt gizmos, making short work of the police car's windows ... then danced a 'terroristic jig' on the roof, trunk and hood to humiliate the car further! In a final act of sadistic cruelty they lit the vehicle on fire and left it to burn ... and burn ... and burn ... burn for a few hours ... because it appears that Toronto doesn't own a fire truck either.

So this where we come into the picture ... for a hundred grand (or so) we can provide Toronto with a fire truck and a tow truck for future emergencies ... but under the strict condition that they lend those vehicles to any future sites for G20 meetings to cut down on the expenses associated with security!

However, there was some good in that PVC (Police Vehicle Cremation) ... the length of time the police car sat burning gave ample opportunity for local and national media to record the burning car on video and write thrilling commentary in time for the next scheduled newscast!

Almost makes me want to blurt out the term "photo op" ... but I won't blurt out "photo op"because it might imply that the whole affair was staged to provide a "photo op" and it would be blasphemous to suggest that some people might benefit from a "photo op" ... even if they are people who spent a ridiculous One Billion dollars on "security" to prevent such events that would provide said "photo op". So I won't mention any reference to a "photo op".

Seems to me that there are two good questions to ask the free-spenders in Ottawa: "Under what reasonable circumstance(s) did you spend one billion dollars to protect bankers, accountants and economists from chants, slogans and home-made signs on sticks?" and "What, in this civil, gentle and disarmed county warrants buying and providing armored personnel carriers / assault vehicles to every RCMP tactical troop across the land?"

When events seem 'over the top' relative to real circumstances there are two possible scenarios ... (1) Something is being concealed, or (2) Something is being planned. Either way ... we who pay the freight are not being properly informed ... so we must take all measures to inform ourselves and we must hold elected people to account for what is going on here in Canada.

Damn, there is a flaw in my logic!

On 10th December, 1990 the Honourable Mr. Justice, E.A. Marshall, Justice of The Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta, concerning Docket # 9012000725, said in his judgment:

“I know of no legal duty on an elected representative at any level of government to consult with his constituents or determine their views. While such an obligation may generally be considered desirable, there is no legal requirement.”

I guess those ballots we cast to elect people every few years who beg for jobs at the podium to be our "voice in government" are really nothing more than 'chew toys' to keep us amused ... they vote in the house and pass bills at the command of party brass ... after all; How else can a politician rise in the party ranks? And how else could a Billion Dollars get approved for an event lasting a few days? ... makes the 2010 Olympic committee look like 'security cheapskates'!

We Canadians better wake up fast ... while we still can!

The " Modern Feudal Serf " isn't what my parents named me ... but it is what government deems me to be. Unfortunately for them, I'm far too independent, resourceful and aware (awake) to buy into that servile submission.

My life experiences and family history have played a consistent and influential role ... teaching me significant values right from my earliest years. Teaching me that there is no reason for abuse nor right to oppress others.

My Grandfather died as a result of his treatment in a Nazi concentration camp ... he wasn't there because he was Jewish ... he was there because he refused to persecute his Jewish neighbors. He was a police chief in Copenhagen (Kobenhaven) Denmark, during the second world war, who refused (despite Gestapo insistence) to order his constabulary to assist in a "roundup" of Jews.

Note that Jews are a point of significant historical controversy ... all I will say about that is that it is very important to understand the difference between a Jew and a Zionist ... apples & oranges once you educate yourself.

My Father lost his teenage years and teenage joys ... instead he was a member of the Danish underground (reisitasnce) ... spiriting Danish Jews out of harm's way into neutral Sweden. I can only imagine what he may have seen during that time. He was an intensely private man, but I got a glimpse of those times when I read a book called "Rescue in Denmark."

Growing up with those significant examples, it was my first choice to pursue a career in the military ... to be a defender and protector. The military trained me to fly ... not a tough task given my natural aptitude. Politicians, however, had decided that the military should be 'homogenized' and therefore skills were second to 'state personnel allocations' ... seemed ridiculous that we Canadians would ally ourselves against Soviets when we were practicing the same policies!

An education, resulting in an Officer's commission, from RMC (Royal Military College) -- "West Point" for my American cousins -- required a 'payback' ... ten years of service ... doing what politicians deemed you were to do rather than doing what your natural skills dictated. Not a good recipe ... and not something I could accept as a good use of my desire "to protect and to serve", and my willingness to risk myself for that purpose. So ...

How else does one 'protect and serve'? Ah yes ... work in policing! Second choice but not with less passion. Back in the 70's & early 80's you could still 'protect and serve' ... it was a natural motivation for those inclined to 'public service'. However, one learns soon that the 'brass' are no longer cops ... they are just politicians playing the game. I could accept a pay voucher every couple weeks to stay quiet and 'do my job' ... or, I could opt out of that PC plan ... which I did despite my commendation from the top of the brass!

In the time since, I've traveled and lived elsewhere ... got to know the people ... felt and experienced them, and their cultures. In doing so I have come to realize that while we may differ on our ideas about various things, we are mostly the same ... we want to live and raise families in peace, and with independence. We don't object to working and/or working hard to achieve that ... and are creative in that pursuit left to ourselves.

Unfortunately for normal humanity there is a group of people (Illuminati, Bilderbergers, Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission, House of Windsor, and others) who disagree with that. They are an old-blood, inbred group who insist (imagine) that they are "natural leaders" … "hereditary leaders" even … and they are arrogant enough to assume that they are smarter, more enabled and better groomed than we are to govern all human activity … right from procreation to occupation! As pathetic as that notion is, they have weaseled their way over centuries into enough positions of 'power' that they are able to enact their delusions in the form of ‘policies’ and in some cases statutes too. Notice I didn't say "laws". There is a difference ... a big difference. A "law" cannot 'compel' performance ... it can ONLY protect. However 'statutes' do compel performance and 'statutes' are a 'contract' that requires our consent! More on that some other time.

There is a big difference between "justice" and "law" … as much as there is a difference between 'right' and 'wrong.' "Statute Law" seems to say that the end is the result of a negotiated means ... while "Justice" is the simple difference in common sense between what is right, wrong, good, bad, fair and unfair ... it resonates with us at a fundamental level ... whereas "the (statue) laws" frustrate us with abuses of the victim in favor of the 'rights' of the offender.

That being said ... my commentaries hereinafter are dedicated to a heartfelt determination to see justice done ... for all of us ... for those of us who see the world as our natural home upon which we all have un-alienable rights. The Earth is our home ... not a prison upon which we are expected to live (exist) for the pleasure, convenience, profit and in servitude to deluded, self-styled “masters” who think a 'big stick' gives them dominion over free people … us.

The 2006 Federal Election in Canada

… still a nation of those easily frightened, & those who want a federal nanny.

Results are not all in yet but the critical polls are clear .. gratefully the Liberal Party has been expunged ..at least for a while.

It amazes me that a corrupt, arrogant and power mongering organization can be so successful at buying and intimidating its way into one seat …let alone multiple seats. It’ so blatant … tell me how the Liberal party fought this election on REAL ISSUES (of importance to the nation) versus fighting it on self-serving slander, dis-information and scare-propaganda.

This ‘defeat’ of the Liberals is largely hollow. Canadians who endorsed Liberal candidates in effect endorsed corruption and dishonesty. How do we, as a nation, accept that?

The NDP, lead by a charismatic salesman, faired very well. Interesting. Especially since NDP and Liberal values are so close … big government, big control and big transference of money from those who work and risk to those who feel entitled.

Gilles Duceppe has said tonight that he is willing to work closely with the Conservatives. The Liberals have demonized both Harper and Duceppe. Not a surprise since the Conservatives and the Bloc actually stand on similar principals … though from diverse directions.

Quebec wants what all provinces are entitled to …self-determination, self governance and self sufficiency. More power to them; they are an example ALL provinces should pay close attention to … read some history (or articles on this blog) to understand that.

The Conservatives want smaller, more accountable federal ‘governance’. The aims of their policy are to reduce the redundancies and over-control of Ottawa; to reverse the lax policy in Canada that allows criminals and even terrorists to call their own shots; to make government as accountable to Canadians as Canadians are expected to be to government! Noble motives and clearly anathema to those who want and expect us to be quiet, compliant, cooperative and dutiful to those who have deemed themselves our betters and masters.

Paul Martin said, tonight, that he is out of politics. Not his decision, I’m sure …more so the decision of the so-called ruling elite who pull Liberal strings. That being said, count on seeing a relative unknown named Michael Ignatief slipped into a safe riding and promoted.

He is being touted as the “next Pierre Trudeau”. Harvard educated, Liberally indoctrinated and a frightening prospect for Canada. The LAST thing Canada needs is another ‘Pierre Trudeau’ …the last one left us with enough confusion and grief!

Keep your eye on this blog because I’m going to personally expose and illuminate all and any propaganda the Liberal Party tends to spew to promote this DANGEROUS individual. If you, as a citizen and Canadian, have the least interest in the future of this potentially great country, you will reject and discount any suggestion that the new ‘Trudeau’ is anything more than a looming social cancer that will further suppress and destroy the credibility of this nation.

Thanks to the weakness of some Canadians, the self interest of others, the (taught) dependence of some and the selfishness of those who are too regional to be real Canadians … look forward to another visit to the ballot box way too soon.

The Eve of Political Change in Canada

… and a change in how we think of and define ourselves?

So many of you have come back to my blog regularly over the last month to find nothing new.
There are two reasons why I’ve been silent … one because I wanted my last post to register with as many people as possible, and the other is that because I have not wanted to get caught up in the minutia of political speech & promise making …Dan Murphy can do a lot more with THOSE antics than I ever could! Having said that …

A few days from now we will go (again) to voting stations and cast our ballots …hoping for something better for ourselves and for Canada. I wish us all ‘Good Luck’.

Last time we went there we were all shocked …by the allegations and preliminary information coming out of the Gomery Inquiry into political corruption. The depth, expanse, subterfuge and ramifications of the emerging information and truths were numbing … because we in Canada seem to think that such corruption exists only elsewhere …particularly the USA, according to some … but not in Canada! Hell, we’re so superior that such a thing couldn’t happen here! Right?

How wrong we were.

Now we have a second chance on the 23rd. A second chance to say “NO” to corruption and say “YES” to change from what we’ve been subjected to because some people (deeming themselves as some form of ‘royalty’) seem to think they are entitled to govern …and are therefore “entitled to their (self-given) entitlements …and to spend (and give away) money that you and I work for a lot harder for than they do.

I get a lot of email on account of this blog. I appreciate all of it. One word that comes up (almost always) when I’m being chastised for my thoughts and opinions, is that I’m “partisan”. Well, those critics are right … I certainly AM “partisan” … partisan in favour of Canada and the hard-working, honest, generous and loving people who are the mainstay of our society. So thank you to my critics for the compliment!

Unfortunately such comments weren’t meant so … in reality the implied meaning was that I’m opposed to the “business as usual” attitude that has dominated the civil service (oxymoron) and governance of Canada for far too long, Another reason for some serious changes in this country.

A few days ago, Stephen Harper said something amazingly honest and poignant. I’ll just paraphrase. The issue was how a minority Conservative government could function especially in the face of a Liberally appointed (stacked deck) Senate … and Supreme Court no doubt. Harper’s response was that is would be a good thing that ‘government was subject to checks and balances to avoid future excesses and abuses’.

Read between the lines. The essence of what the LEADER of the party said was that without oversight, government is prone to run amok. No surprise there since we’ve WITNESSED such abuse and deceit progressively throughout the ‘reign’ of the Liberals …the self-proclaimed “natural governing party of Canada”. One I refer so often to as the ‘Naturally Arrogant Party of Canada’.

Throughout this election campaign the most prominent ‘feature’ has been hysterical allegations from Liberal politicians that have less fact and substance than the last round when the hysterical cry was about aircraft carriers that Conservative war-mongers planned to buy with our tax money.

The Naturally Arrogant Party of Canada apparently thinks we’re naïve and gullible children … the ‘nanny state’ at its best! But the good news is that Canadians are apparently getting wise to this action!

Ontario has been a bastion the Liberals counted on and have taken for granted … similar to how they figured they could buy off Quebec …ala Gomery Inquiry. Interestingly (since I keep track of these things) since the election launched I’ve seen a HUGE amount of traffic from search engine inquiries (from Ontario & Quebec specifically) where the search term was an inquiry about the corruption and history of corruption of Liberal politicians … and the party in general! Fortunately I have a list of about 200 items that they can peruse to assure themselves. This has been the trend since the outset of the election campaign.

Polls over the last few days support this since they indicate that Ontario & Quebec voters are expressing the same sentiments in surveys. Last election pollsters were embarrassed by being so far off the mark, so one could claim that polls this time are similarly unreliable. Fair comment. However, the Conservative ‘lead’ in this election corresponds with the inquiries I’ve been seeing.

In talking with people or interacting by email I hear that some Canadians are in fear of a Conservative government because of some perceptions from the Mulroney era …. Huh? Who from Mulroney’s circle is still in the ‘game’? The biggest beef with the Mulroney government is the GST from all I see. OK …hang Mulroney on that …in fact, Michael Wilson (Minister of Finance then) said to me personally that the tax didn’t work so well. But did they get a chance to modify and improve that system? NO.

Instead Canadians ditched the Conservatives and elected the Liberals whose PROMISE was to scrap the hated “Mulroney / Wilson” GST tax! They didn’t do so … and while they weren’t doing do Chretien & Martin implemented actions that have fleeced (stolen) billions of dollars via EI over-deductions. The Naturally Arrogant Party spun the tale that it was all for our good … but apparently some advertising firms were actually the beneficiaries of Liberal generosity and largess …at our expense …as always.

We were angry at the Mulroney Conservatives over a tax and because we didn’t like being part of a continental market created by the Free Trade deal. Sure, that has some problems, but what new thing doesn’t have some bugs to work out? Have Liberal Politicians worked out the bugs in over a decade? Nope …but they’ve made political hay blaming Conservatives! Seems to me the Libs have had a lot more time to solve problems than the Conservatives had to adjust their plans. Which is the biggest failure to the public in Canada?

Liberals can scream about the AirBus inquiry alleging that Mulroney was involved … nothing was ever proven, and certainly the body of evidence there is pale compared to the body of evidence via the Gomrey Inquiry!

In fact, Liberals scream that if you disagree with them or happen to like either an American or an American idea/concept, you’re anti-Canadian! (So much for democratic freedom of speech and thought???) IN fact, also, the implication seems to be clear that if you’re anti-Liberal you’re a demon bent on the destruction of Canada and its ideals! (What arrogant and ignorant crap!)

When the Mulroney ‘era’ ended, we were faced with struggling with and open market in North America.

As the Chretien/Martin ‘era’ concludes we’re looking at unresolved trade disputes over softwood lumber, border identification issues due to distrust and a growing international reputation as a “State Sponsor of Terrorism”. ( More on that? Check out the book link to the left.)

Compare that for yourself.

Stephen Harper may look like Star Trek's ‘Mr. Data’, as some have said … but he’s not registering his businesses off-shore (ala Paul Martin), nor is he demanding to give convicted sex-offenders another chance to re-offend by keeping them off a necessary registry ( ala Jean Chretien, because his step son is a convicted sex offender.) Nor has his party subverted hundreds of millions of dollars (ala Sponsorgate) Which is worse?? …Harper not being picturesque to some … or the “old boys” who rip you off, play off shore while YOU pay the freight and risk your children to cover their own deviant ones?

The answer should be obvious!

I asked you, not long ago: “Are you a patriot or a sell out?” On election day we’ll both know the answer to that question. Don’t buy the lies … invest in our future instead.

Christmas Gifts From Canada’s Political Crowd

…or how to be happy with gifts bought with your own money!

Tis the season to think about togetherness and family. Usually Christmas time is when we, after working at least half the year to pay taxes, relax, let our guards down, feel generous, forgive and have a wonderful break from ‘it all’.

Not this year. This year in Canada Christmas is tainted with the presence of politicians and would-be politicians on our doorsteps, lawns, TVs and radios begging for jobs. Regardless of political stripe, all will be promising to represent YOU.

Such statements are technical falsehoods …lies. The jobs these people are begging you for will provide them with fat salaries, perques and a pension plan none of us could ever afford for ourselves … even though our labours can afford to pay for theirs!

The really big lie is that they will work for us …nothing could be further from the truth both n Canadian Law as well as in practice. The reality is that they work for the party brass, period. In practicality, any MP who staunchly stands for his constituent’s wishes will never progress past the station of a back bencher …someone with no power or influence ..and therefore no results.

As for all those multi-million dollar promises ... welcome to the world of your vote in exchange for your own dollars in return!

So what could that doorstep or podium promise really mean?

Canada is trying to enjoy Christmas time in the face of political divisiveness. I have been listening to all the leaders talking. Harper & Martin are the real contenders. Jack Layton can say anything he wants because he will never have to live up to it since the NDP’s chances of forming a federal government are negligible. Harper & Martin will duke it out with Harper wanting more accountability in government, less taxes and more personal choice … Martin will go on about any non-Liberal vote being anti-Canadian and destructive to the Canadian social structure! Gilles Duceppe, however, will (as he always does) be the voice we should listen to!

We in the west have long accused Ontario and Quebec with saddling us with the Liberal Party (Canada’s Naturally Dishonest Party). Interestingly this web site has seen a huge number of visitors since the election was called coming from Ontario based on search inquires about Liberal dishonesty and criminality …perhaps Ontario is now waking up to who they have so long supported and is now thinking more about the good of Canada? Possibly.

As for Quebec, and Gilles Duceppe … First off, read my post from April 2005 for a larger perspective. Duceppe consistently holds the ‘federal government’ to account for its dishonesty and for its attempts to trample provincial rights. In Canada, by law, the Provincial Governments are senior to the federal on Provincial soil. Yet, with the notable exception of Quebec, provincial governments over time have caved to the incursions and power broking out of Ottawa …except Quebec.

Oddly, The Bloc Quebequois stands for all of us in all the provinces. It is the lone voice that espouses claim to the rights and sovereignty ALL provinces are entitled to. Unfortunately we’ve been convinced (by Liberals) that Quebec threatens to break up and destroy Canada by asserting their rights under Canadian Law.

That sort of canard (lie) is exactly what your tax dollars have paid to promote through your politicians, who begged you for a job, said they’d be YOUR voice in Ottawa but sadly only became the party’s voice to you …. no wonder we’re such a mess.

Interesting isn’t it … if a company were to advertise its products and services in the manner that political parties do, the Truth in Advertising Laws would have them in a court room … just another double standard!

I just have to share these ‘leaked’ items with you!

But first, your favourite serf enjoys a diverse readership, including the House of Commons, RCMP, Agriculture Canada, DOJ Canada, HDRC, BC Systems and others world wide. Interestingly, the most common search that leads to my site is "what is a feudal serf?" In answer …a Feudal Serf is someone in chattel service to someone deemed more powerful. Sound familiar? Basically, feudal serfs paid a ‘duty’ to their ‘masters’ for the right (and opportunity) to make a living. Sound familiar?

In Canada we will soon be asked to elect some new masters …ones we trust to abuse us in the most enjoyable way … I’ll leave it up to you to decide what position you prefer.

The incumbents, the Naturally Arrogant and Dishonest Party of Canada, will be desperate to hang on to their precious power …after all, without that precious power; How can they possibly look after their friends and benefactors??? Obviously they have a lot at stake!

The RCMP motto is "Mantiens le Droit" (Maintain the Right) and the Mounties are very adroit at always getting the bad guy …as history confirms. The Liberal Party motto is "Mantiens le Power" (Stay in Power No Matter What it Takes) …and the Liberals are very adroit at always getting their election ...regarless of what it takes!

Now we have to make a distinction here! The RCMP "get their man" on the basis of good investigation and good evidence. The Liberals, on the other hand, have usually ‘got their election’ on the basis of good fear mongering and good BS.

Tax Cuts are Bad

…at least according to the Liberals!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but my memory seems to recall that in the last election the Liberals accused the Conservatives of planning the death of social programs because the Conservatives promoted tax reductions.

Correct me if I’m wrong … but haven’t the Liberals just offered $30 BILLION in tax cuts? I guess the social programs are safer now than they were a few years ago …so now the Liberals can campaign on the same platform!

Speaking of “tax cuts” …whatever happened to the George Radwanski debacle? Remember him? A half million dollars in tax forgiveness because he was a buddy of Coach Jean Chretien! Have you heard anymore about it? Did he pay? What kind of salary did the feds pay him that he would owe so much? What kind of pay plan was he on that deductions weren’t automatic to cover the tax load? Seems to me I’ve read of people who have had their whole financial lives frozen over less than a thousand bucks in tax discrepancy! Guess it all depends on who you know!

I was talking to an acquaintance recently and the subject of taxation & collection came up. Seems my acquaintance was being garnisheed and his employer was taking 30% off his gross income to satisfy the garnishee order. To me that seemed abusive and I said so. My acquaintance then brought out his papers and showed then to me.

The first thing I noticed was that there was NO accounting for the sum demanded …just a figure. Most importantly, though, all I saw was a ‘CRA document’ that was rubber stamped (it was obvious) with a supervisory signature. There was no proof of claim, nor any court order …just a rubber-stamped piece of paper issued by a tax collector. (I wonder what ever happened to “due process”?) Furthermore I was taken aback and quite offended to notice that a substantial part of the document involved THREATENING the payroll officer/clerk with personal penalties if he or she did not comply with the "order”. By the way, the amount was just over three thousand dollars (not half a million!).

Speaking of ‘tax collection methods … I have another anecdote to share with you regarding who the feds hire to collect their demands of us. Picture this … two employees of Revenue Canada showed up one day at a friend’s office. One of them was quiet (the supervisor) and the other was a loud-mouthed thug who threatened my friend with a number of dire consequences and throughout managed to use the “F” word in all its glorious variables.

My friend was offended and simply asked them to leave … they did …without even bothering to close the office door behind them. Bad mistake. You see, this particular friend is someone who has risked his life (on behalf of the feds, by the way) to ensure you and I are sleeping a little safer …and he was offended deeply by the unprofessional and loutish behaviour of these two “civil servants”. So, he wrote a formal complaint to the regional head of Revenue Canada, explaining the behaviour and details.

This resulted in a meeting wherein he said to the regional head that the behaviour and deportment of the one individual in particular was on the level one would expect from a mouse-house collection agency as a means of applying perspective. Then came an amazing admission from the Rev Can boss …apparently Revenue Canada had gone on a hiring spree for collectors and had farmed all the high-interest finance houses (Avco, Household etc) and had hired all their knee-buster collectors … to represent the federal ‘government’. How nice!

OK …one more poignant anecdote about this abuse. Another acquaintance fell behind on GST remittances by a couple thousand dollars … paying wages first, government second. The business folded due to a downturn in the economy and then the ‘collectors’ showed up with one of those rubber-stamped garnishee orders to present to her new employer. Three years later she was still living in relative poverty ...surviving on what was left over of her salary after usual deductions taken off after 30% of her gross had been skimmed to satisfy the rubber-stamped garnishee order!

Finally, on the insistence of friends & family, she expended more of her precious retained dollars to hire a tax accountant …this being after she did some math and concluded that she would never get past his with the accumulation of penalties and interest being assessed along the way! Fortunately she hired a good accountant. It took a few months but the accountant go results …payments were halted to start with and then finally an admission from the feds that she’d paid too much … $5,000 & change too much!

Had she not hired the accountant (a good one) she would likely still be paying today, three years later. Oh, and as a post script to this anecdote, there are two points …One: She learned from the accountant that the CRA pays commissions to collectors …in other words they get a percentage of money collected so it serves their selfish purposes to have you pay as long and as much as possible. (Talk about privatization!) Two: If you or I were to try to raise or collect money in the same fashion as the feds, we’d be facing criminal charges for fraud and extortion!

OK …so back to Radwanski …apparently the half million dollars he ‘owed’ has just gone away because he has the right friends. Just like so many Quebec-based ad agencies and individuals profited because they had the right friends. Just like a certain golf courses in Shawinigan got special treatment … all because they had the right friends.

Who are those friends? The Liberal Party of Canada ..that’s who. And friends like mine and friends like yours have been intimidated and defrauded out of the money to cover George’s shortfall …not to mention that there was enough left over to slide some financial ‘grease’ to political allies as well. The Naturally Fraudulent Party of Canada seems to have a great little thing going for itself!

So now the Liberals are on the hot seat …but they are confident that if they can stall long enough you and I will forget …especially when they hold out $30 Billion of OUR dollars to entice us to put their arrogant and corrupt party back into power.

If you think I share these stories with you just to we can whine about outcomes .. you’re wrong. I share them to encourage you to think about the causes. Nothing is going to change until Canadians grow a collective backbone and take those elected employees by the scruff of the neck to the wood shed.

WE (you and me) own this country …not politicians and senior civil servants who treat themselves as royalty at our expense. Until that gets straightened out, look forward to bending over time and time again.

This will be a short post because there isn’t much that needs to be said … outside of logically dismantling the “save our political asses” spin you’ll be subjected to compliments of the Liberal Party of Canada and their media pals.

REMEMBER THE PRIORITIES ... If you're a verteran who fought for our 'freedom' and 'democracy' you're entitled to be swindled out of your benefits and to live on a 'cat food pension' ... however, if you're a federal politician you're entitled to lie and cheat for six years so that you will get a fully indexed life-long pension that allows you to live well for your "sacrifice." With those contrasting priorities in mind, put all you hear from the so-called 'government' in Ottawa into clear perspective.

POINT ONE: The Gomery Commission was NOT a criminal investigation (although it rightly should have been) and therefore cannot and did not implicate people criminally … regardless of how much criminality was involved.

POINT TWO: Phase One of his report has been released and delivered clearly establishing that the Liberal Party of Canada (those ‘naturally governing, moral and social beacons of Canada) conducted a sneaky, self-serving, arrogant and criminally ripe operation to funnel funds stolen from you and me to the best interests of the party that assumes it is Canada’s royalty. As if we need royalty!

The latest spin is that Canadians NEED to hear the second Gomery Report before being sent to the polls.

LET’S GET SOMETHING ENTIRELY STRAIGHT!

Phase One of the Gomery Report said it all …the Liberal Party of Canada engaged in deceptive, dishonest, illegal and criminal activities to promote its own politics. PERIOD.

WHAT MORE DO WE NEED TO THROW CRIMINALS OUT OF OFFICE?

Phase Two of the Gomery Report will simply make ‘recommendations’ about how to avoid a repeat of those same CRIMINAL activities … nothing more.

THEREFORE, CANADIAN VOTERS … if anyone attempts to suggest that your right to make an informed election decision before Gomery has released report number two is premature is lying to you and you can bet your last ill-taken tax dollar that person also wears a Liberal Party of Canada label.

Here we go … an election is looming, and whether its over the Christmas season or delayed so that Paul and Company can spin more excuses and veiled threats (i.e. no fuel cost relief, the end of medical coverage as we know it or the end of Canada as a sovereign nation!)

We’re in for a ‘political feast’ … financially, our own dollars (that have been skimmed excessively) will be held out as an offering for votes … our fears will be exploited via the threat of medical coverage loss, private health care, and the evil Conservative-right who will end all those failed social programs and run right out to purchase aircraft carriers, Hum Vs, orbiting laser battle stations and a statue of George Bush to place outside the House of Commons!

Does that sound ridiculous? Probably. However, when the election campaign begins and all the allegations, illusions, pontifications and speculations start gushing out of the mouths of the well trained Liberal seals … oops …meant ‘candidates’ … it won’t sound ridiculous any more! After all …a politician will have said it ...especially a politician representing the self-proclaimed ‘natural governing party’ of Canada.

One of the benefits of having a popular (political) blog (web site) is that a lot of wonderful people contribute thoughts, content and links. From where I’m sitting, it’s really encouraging to know that Canadians are talking …on the back-channels … about the deceit and dishonesty that ‘governs’ our beautiful country …that is destroying our beautiful country. ‘United’ we can take a stand, and reclaim the country that belongs to us (not the politicians) … divided we will indeed fall and those we’ve hired to manage certain affairs (politicians) will effectively own and control that which belongs to us! What a horrible waste that would be!

The “Natural Governing Party of Canada” (their claim) has a demonstrable history if winning elections with lies, distortions of truth, threats and slander … and a good measure of arrogance on top of it! I mention ‘arrogance’ because despite the Gomery inquiry and subsequent revelations, the Liberals are conducting business in exactly the same sneaky, dishonest and arrogant (assuming Canadians are ignorant and gullible) manner. Now, it’s one thing for me to say that, however, unlike your Liberal heroes, I am prepared to offer you more than just words to substantiate my position! Paradoxically, in this case, the words I offer in substantiation are from the Liberals themselves … even though these are words you were never meant to hear!

OTTAWA - An exasperated B.C. businessman has gone public with misdirected e-mails he regularly receives detailing inside information from the Liberal government, which included party tactics and sensitive data such as credit card numbers.

Bill Sadar's final straw, he said, was an e-mail last week outlining a scheme involving Ruth Thorkelson, one of Prime Minister Paul Martin's closest political advisers, aimed at discrediting two of Conservative Leader Stephen Harper's star candidates.

Thorkelson, who left her post as Martin's deputy chief of staff in August, sent a message to Liberal MP Judi Longfield outlining plans to leak to "a friendly media outlet" accusations Tory candidates Jim Flaherty and John Baird are violating the Canada Elections Act. Thorkelson proposed that Longfield, whose Ontario seat of Whitby-Oshawa is being challenged by Flaherty, issue a news release the day after the leak to take advantage of the controversy.

The e-mail, however, ended up in Sadar's computer because Thorkelson copied her plan to John Brodhead, a political aide to Infrastructure Minister John Godfrey.

"Today I got some guy asking someone else for lunch. You know, I get a variety. I get baby pictures, I get jokes, I get lunch dates, I get Liberal announcements. I get all kinds of crap," Sadar said. "What pushed me over the edge was the Thorkelson thing. That was too much for me. I don't want to see that crap and I don't like it, because it sounded underhanded.

"I don't like the way they do business that way. I guess I'm slightly influenced by the Gomery thing that's going on."

The worst part it, the Liberals don't really see anything wrong with this. Thorkelson's major sin is that she got caught trying to do it.

Yup … they just don’t seem to have learned that Canadians are smarter than given credit for, are more aware than given credit for, and are talking amongst each other more than ever before. The truth of these matters is that the biggest threat the Liberal Party of Canada faces …and the one they cannot defeat honestly … unless they simply admit to decades of fraud, deceit and deceptions … is that they have been caught red-handed. Yet they haven’t the common sense to just take their punishment … the defensive ‘spew’ coming out of them is insulting …I’m insulted that anyone would expect me to believe such transparent BS … you should be insulted to!

There is an old expression that says: “If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance; baffle them with bullshit.” Expect a lot of that out of the Liberals as we ramp up to an election. Something from a valued Modern Feudal Serf reader is something you should read and read again. Why? Because when you read the list you will see 199 reasons the Liberal Arrogance of Canada should be wiped off the political map. What an amazing exclamation from Canada’s (gratefully) former Prime Minister!

Take a walk back through your memories to a couple ‘elections’ ago and picture the arrogant and gleeful Jean Chretien hugging his successful candidates and exclaiming “I am the Coach!” … taking credit for the political success of those candidates. Remember also that Chretien (a.k.a. Cretin) was also widely known as a control freak who managed everything. Control freaks ensure they KNOW all that is going on …of course, now that the lid is off the pot, the self-proclaimed “coach” knew nothing! Uh huh.

The little street scrapper from Shawinigan plans to fight the evidence given in the Gomery inquiry …after all, none of his pals got to sit down and applaud their buddy … apparently the commission was too busy collecting facts and evidence! What a shame … for Jean Cretin …but not for Canadians on the whole! Personally, I’m not to interested in having a “street scrapper” represent me internationally. I’d prefer a wise, reasonable statesman who has integrity!

Jean Chretien believes he has integrity (it would seem) because his job conferred upon him the title of ‘Right Honourable.’ Unfortunately for Mr. Chretien, “honourable” is something you EARN …not just have conferred upon you by your equally self-serving buddies.

Jean Chretien has had a long run in Canadian Federal Politics and has distinguished himself with arrogance, pomposity and the willingness to deceive the Canadian people. In my opinion, his most notable act (in that regard) was to sign his name to a document orchestrated by his idol (Pierre Trudeau) that ‘repatriated’ a constitution that never existed to start with! Jean Chretien knowingly and willingly participated in a fraud against the Canadian public because he wanted to feel important, wanted to curry favour with his idol (Trudeau) and knew that the document he signed was a vehicle to (ill-gotten) political power.

Jean Chretien didn’t know what was going on with his hand-picked, exempt, close staff? You’d have to possess an IQ below 8 to buy into that story! Jean Chretien and his pals raped the public trust and the public coffers as knowingly as his step son raped women … no wonder Chretien didn’t allow the sex offender registry to be retroactive … apparently he doesn’t want retroactive responsibility to apply to himself either! Chretien was the “coach” … the guy in control …the political mastermind with an agenda … but he didn’t know what going on right under his controlling nose! Gee ...he’s a politician …he said something …so it must be the truth and for the greater good! If you believe that, your IQ score just dropped below zero.

Paul Martin got off with a slap for being asleep at the wheel and not asking enough questions as the finance minister responsible for public funds … ya … this is a guy we need directing national affairs. A real Canadian who made his billions running ships registered off-shore to avoid Canadian taxes (however illegitimate they largely are) and who got his break to gain those billions from a political mentor who is actively promoting global de-population …Maurice Strong. For you doubters, check Strong’s speeches at the UN.

The paradox is that Paul Martin’s most obvious ‘claim to fame’ is that he is adverse to Chretien. Does that make him different from Chretien? … NO … just adverse, because the two men are of the same political and ideological stripe …the struggle was only ever about POWER.

Even more paradoxical is that the REAL POWER is, and has always been with us ..the hard working people who have allowed ourselves to be fleeced, controlled and mismanaged by our elected employee (who we have failed to control adequately because we didn’t think we could!) After all … Chretien and Trudeau “repatriated” a false and non-existent constitution in the 80’s that allows ‘government’ (using the British System) to do whatever the hell it wants because we (in trust and naivete) believed their claims and speeches! We’re just feudal serfs on account of it …however taxed far more than the original serfs were!

The Gomery Inquiry was to result in two phases. Phase One ... the report (on Monday, Nov 1st) regarding ‘Culpability’ for the sponsorship scandal …Phase Two … the report on ‘Remedies’ (in February 2006) regarding counter measures to ensure this sort of thing cannot happen again.

It seems to me that the ‘Remedies’ phase (2) is non-essential to the credibility of Liberal governance and whether or not we should go to an election … which has been clearly established in the ‘Culpability’ phase (1) which was November 1st. Now, unless I’m mistaken, Paul Martin loudly proclaimed he would call an election after the release of the report (culpability) in the fall. It seems that now that call is being deferred to 2006 after the ‘remedies’ report. Once again the Liberals are counting on the typically short Canadian memory.

They are also counting upon our typical willingness to get bought off with our own money …notice the recent financial relief offerings from Paul Martin … the guy who stole more from pay cheques than was reasonable or necessary … guess he’s glad for THAT little slush fund during this time of political need!

Read or listen to the press since Monday … talk about the likelihood of another Liberal minority … the possibility of a majority! WHAT????? Reasonably the talk SHOULD be confidently about the EXTINCTION of the Liberal Party of Canada and a well-deserved extinction on the basis of PROOF …Phase One, Culpability … we don’t need to wait for Phase Two to make THAT decision!

Edmund Burke (1729-1797) said “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men [people] to do nothing.”

The abuse of the sponsorship scandal was as evil as it was self-serving.
The abuse of the poor and families through over-deductions and over-taxation is evil.
To provide our children to sex predators in the future to protect a rapist step-son from being included in a registry (Chretien) is evil.
To outlaw Canadians from spending their after-tax dollars on their own health care is evil.
To allow terrorist organizations to raise money for fear of losing votes is evil.
To put ‘power’ ahead of ethics, honesty and truth is evil.

So … are we Canadians ‘good men’ [people]? … or will we do nothing by allowing proven cheaters, thieves and frauds to continue collecting huge salaries and benefits with our votes next time we are allowed to select out federal employees?

The Myth Of Peak Oil

Peak oil is a scam designed to create artificial scarcity and jack up prices while giving the state an excuse to invade our lives and order us to sacrifice our hard-earned living standards.

Publicly available CFR and Club of Rome strategy manuals from 30 years ago say that a global government needs to control the world population through neo-feudalism by creating artificial scarcity. Now that the social architects have de-industrialized the United States, they are going to blame our economic disintegration on lack of energy supplies.

Globalization is all about consolidation. Now that the world economy has become so centralized through the Globalists operations, they are going to continue to consolidate and blame it on the West's "evil" overconsumption of fossil fuels, while at the same time blocking the development and integration of renewable clean technologies.

In other words, Peak oil is a scam to create artificial scarcity and drive prices up. Meanwhile, alternative fuel technologies which have been around for decades are intentionally suppressed.

Peak oil is a theory advanced by the elite, by the oil industry, by the very people that you would think peak oil would harm, unless it was a cover for another agenda. Which from the evidence of artificial scarcity being deliberately created, the reasons for doing so and who benefits, it’s clear that peak oil is a myth and it should be exposed for what it is. Another excuse for the Globalists to seize more control over our lives and sacrifice more American sovereignty in the meantime.

The lies of artificial scarcity

The crux of the issue is that if oil was plentiful in areas in which we are being told by the government and the oil companies that it is not, then we have clear evidence that artificial scarcity is being simulated in order to drive forward a myriad of other agendas. And we have concrete examples of where this has happened.

Three separate internal confidential memos from Mobil, Chevron and Texaco have been obtained by The Foundation for Taxpayer and Consumer Rights.

These memos outline a deliberate agenda to gouge prices and create artificial scarcity by limiting capacities of and outright closing oil refineries. This was a nationwide lobbying effort led by the American Petroleum Institute to encourage refineries to do this.

An internal Chevron memo states; "A senior energy analyst at the recent API convention warned that if the US petroleum industry doesn't reduce its refining capacity it will never see any substantial increase in refinery margins."

The Memos make clear that blockages in refining capacity and opening new refineries did not come from environmental organizations, as the oil industry claimed, but via a deliberate policy of limitation and price gouging at the behest of the oil industry itself.

The mystery of Eugene Island 330 and self-renewing oil supplies

Eugene Island is an oil field in the gulf of Mexico, 80 miles off the coast of Louisiana. It was discovered in 1973 and began producing 15,000 barrels of oil a day which then slowed to about 4,000 barrels in 1989.

But then for no logical reason whatsoever, production spiked back up to 13,000 barrels a day.

What the researchers found when they analyzed the oil field with time lapse 3-D seismic imaging is that there was an unexplained deep fault in the bottom corner of the computer scan, which showed oil gushing in from a previously unknown deep source and migrating up through the rock to replenish the existing supply.

Furthermore, the analysis of the oil now being produced at Eugene Island shows that its age is geologically different from the oil produced there after the refinery first opened. Suggesting strongly that it is now emerging from a different, unexplained source.

The last estimates of probable reserves shot up from 60 million barrels to 400 million barrels.

Both the scientists and geologists from the big oil companies have seen the evidence and admitted that the Eugene Island oil field is refilling itself.

This completely contradicts peak oil theory and with technology improving at an accelerating pace it seems obvious that there are more Eugene Islands out there waiting to be discovered. So the scientific community needs to embrace these possibilities and lobby for funding into finding more of these deep source replenishing oilfields.

The existence of self-renewing oil fields shatters the peak oil myth. If oil is a naturally replenishing inorganic substance then how can it possibly run out?

The future of oil

This year in particular we have seen a strong hike in oil prices and are being told to simply get used to it because this is the way it is going to be. In the wake of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita gas prices have shot up amid claims of vast energy shortages. Americans are being asked to turn off lights, change thermostat settings, drive slower, insulate homes and take other steps. Meanwhile the oil companies continue to make record profits.

Flying in the face of the so called peak oil crisis are the facts. If we are running out of oil so quickly then why are reserves being continually increased and production skyrocketing?

In the 1980s OPEC decided to switch to a quota production system based on the size of reserves. The larger the reserves a country said it had the more it could pump.

Earlier this year Saudi Arabia reportedly increased its crude reserves by around 200 billion barrels. Saudi oil Is secure and plentiful, say officials.

“These huge reserves enable the Kingdom to remain a major oil producer for between 70 and 100 years, even if it raises its production capacity to 15 million barrels per day, which may well happen during the next 15 years,”

Is this the normal course of behavior if we are currently at the peak for oil production? The answer is no, it's the normal course of action for increasing production.

There have also been reports that Russia has vastly increased its reserves even beyond those of Saudi Arabia. Why would they do this if they believed there would be no more oil to get hold of? It seems clear that Russia is ready for unlimited future production of oil.

There is a clear contradiction between the peak oil theory and the continual increase in oil reserves and production.

New untapped oil sources are being discovered everywhere on earth. The notion that there are somehow only a few sources that the West is trying to monopolize is a complete myth, promulgated by those raking in the massive profits. After all how do you make huge profits from something available in abundance?

A Wall Street Journal article by Peter Huber and Mark Mills describes how the price of oil remains high because the cost of oil remains so low. We are not dependent on the middle east for oil because the world's supplies are diminishing, it is because it is more profitable to tap middle east supplies. Thus the myth of peak oil is needed in order to silence the call for tapping the planet's other plentiful reserves.

Richard Branson has even stated his intention to set up his own refinery because the price of oil is artificially being kept high whilst new sources are not being explored and new refineries not being built.

"Opec is effectively an illegal cartel that can meet happily, nobody takes them to court," Branson has said. "They collude to keep prices high."

So if more refineries were built and different resources tapped, the oil prices would come down and the illegal cartel OPEC would see profits diminish. It is no wonder then that the argument for peak oil is so appealing to OPEC. If no one invests to build refineries because they don't believe there is enough oil, then who benefits? OPEC and the oil elites of course.

It seems that every time there is some kind of energy crisis, OPEC INCREASES production. The remarkable thing about this is that they always state that they are doing it to ease prices, yet prices always shoot up because they promulgate the myth that they are putting some of their last reserves into the market. Analysts seem confused and always state that they don't believe upping production will cut prices.

In a recent report the International Monetary Fund projected that global demand for oil by 2030 would reach 139 million barrels a day, a 65 percent increase.

"We should expect to live with high and volatile oil prices," said Raghuram Rajan, the IMF's chief economist. "In short, it's going to be a rocky road going forward."

Yet independent analysts and even some within OPEC seem to believe that the demand for oil is diminishing. Why the contradiction?

The peak oil and demand myth is peddled by the establishment-run fake left activist groups, OPEC and globalist arms such as the IMF.

Rolling Stone magazine even carried an article in its April issue heavily biased towards making people believe the peak oil lie.

The Scientific evidence also flies in the face of the peak oil theory. Scientific research dating back over a hundred years, more recently updated in a Scientific Paper Published In 'Energia' suggests that oil is abiotic, not the product of long decayed biological matter. Oil, for better or for worse, is not a non-renewable resource. It, like coal, and natural gas, replenishes from sources within the mantle of earth.

No coincidence then that the Russians, who pioneered this research have pumped expenditure into deep underground oil excavation.

We have previously scientifically exposed the scam behind peak oil. Here is a 1 hour+ audio clip featuring Alex Jones' comments on peak oil and then the analysis of respected scientific commentator Dr. Nick Begich who presents evidence to suggest the idea of Peak oil is artificial.

A dangerous fallout precedent being set is that people on both the left and right believe wars are being fought in order to tap the last reserves of oil on the planet. The "coalition of the willing", whoever they may be for any given war, will not pay particular attention to refuting this claim because it allows them a reason to start and continue said war.

Even though many will see it as immoral, many will subconsciously attach it as a reason for the war. In reality the war is purely for profit, power and control, oil can be a part of that, but only if the peak oil claim is upheld.

If we continue to let the corrupt elite tell us we are wholly dependent on oil, we may reach a twisted situation whereby they can justify starvation and mass global poverty, perhaps even depopulation, even within the western world due to the fact that our energy supplies are finished.

Peak oil is just another weapon the globalists have in their arsenal to move towards a new world order where the elite get richer and everyone else falls into line.

“30 Days” becomes “whenever”

Paul Martin’s ‘promises’ are as thin and useless as those of Jean Chretien when he PROMISED to scrap the GST … is this a surprise?

The Master of Democracy, Truth and Transparent Government PROMISED that a federal election would be called within 30 days of the release of Gomrey’s report.

Does anyone remember that? Do promises mean anything? Does the fulfillment of a promise (or not) relate to trustworthiness??

Then again, how accustomed are we to seeing ‘podium promises’ fulfilled? Not very, I would say. How typical of the “natural governing party” to offer any ‘carrot’ needed at the moment …with no intention of fulfillment … and with the full confidence that the ‘Canadian memory’ is short enough that it won’t matter if a little time can be bought to disseminate appropriate spin (with public money, of course)!

In a word, a simple word, the performance of Canadian “governance’ is simply this ,,, “DISGUSTING” … follow that ‘DIS’ word with “DIS-honest”, “DIS-ingenuous” and “DIS-service”.

Whenever that ‘promised’ federal election occurs, will we (as a country) be stupid enough to re-elect a dishonest party, lead by someone who has more allegiance to Power Corp, off-shore flags (shipping interests) and Liberal (Communist) puppet-masters than to Canadians as a whole?

(If you have any problem with the word “Communist” just read Pierre Trudeau’s history and book … you’ll educate yourself about the process and also understand why the only time Fidel Castro has left Cuba in over 30 years was to attend Trudeau’s funeral …in a suit & tie (not combat fatigues, no less).

We are seeing a scenario about to repeat itself (again) … Canadians get screwed by those they elect to serve them …Canadians re-elect the screwers because the screwers threaten Canadians with the loss of a social program the screwers invented to buy votes in the first place!

Side Note: “Social Programs” such as ‘health care’ and ‘old-age pensions’ … health care in Canada is a joke …just ask someone who has been seriously ill, needed a hip replacement or heart surgery! Old age pensions? … Do some research and see what the Criminal Code of Canada defines as a “Ponzi Scheme” … seems you or I would go to jail for operating the same ‘program’ as the ‘government’ operates on a day-to-day basis! Double standards …another thing that needs to go!

So here we are in the fall of 2005 when the ‘government’ PROMISED a federal election so the WE (the people) could (should) decide who will manage our federal affairs. And here we are, once again, holding nothing more than a hollow (broken) promise we’re expected to forgive (or forget) after enough excuses and/or spin through the delay process.

Politics as usual …in Canada.

Unfortunately, since we are not a real democracy, we have little to say about this problem … instead we are expected to shut up and listen to those who consider themselves our masters … and then “vote” them back into dictatorship to ‘lead’ us further down the road to ruin.

Notice how (as a distraction) the feds are now announcing financial aid for heating costs …right at the time when a promise is being broken. And while that political largess is being spread around … remember that the most significant portion of fuel costs is federal taxes … those same taxes that (as with most taxes) do NOT go to those purposes they are collected for … how stupid are we to buy into this time after time after time after time!

Liberal tactics to gain and maintain POWER (not service) are to use anything possible as ‘spin”. Last election it was the “aircraft carrier” nonsense …and now, in the fall of 2005 (when an election was promised) heating fuel costs have become the distraction (and carrot) which are expected to buy the votes necessary to cling to power … let’s call it what it is …a blindfold.

So now the promised election of fall 2005 is put off to 2006 (sometime) by the guilty party! … If I robbed a bank; could I determine when I would be tried and judged? Could you? Nope … of course, you and I are ‘expected’ to be far more accountable to those we hire to serve than those servants deem themselves to be accountable to their employers (us)! Does that make any sense at all?

As long as we continue to reward political dishonesty by re-electing dishonest politicians and parties, we cannot expect any improvement in political ethics. As long as we continue to say nothing we cannot expect to ever have a lawfully constituted and controlled government in this country. And as long as things continue as they are, the worse it will progressively get.

Ultimately, the best thing of all would be to abolish the party system and send all independents to Ottawa …independents who are ACCOUNTABLE to their employers (us) not party brass and power brokers.

…two more icons of Martin’s “renewed democracy”

I thought I was smart …take a vacation while Ottawa was having one too! Having returned, feeling calm and relaxed, I run smack dab into another forehead-slapper thanks to Paul Martin’s appointments of Michaelle Jean as the new Governor General (aka Political Bobble) and Larry Campbell as a new Senator (aka Useless Bobble).

'Senator' Larry Campbell …a shining example of how the Liberal-left in Canada operates. Before I go into that, however, I’m left wondering what qualifications Mr. Larry Campbell possesses to be a Canadian Senator! OK …I figured it out, and it relates to my opening remark. Mr. Campbell possesses the most sought-after quality in a good Liberal politician – he is very adept at using mocking slander, misinformation and fear mongering. Over time it has been shown clearly that the Liberal party, in its thirst for power, values these talents more than such things as wisdom, knowledge, reason, open-mindedness or qualifications.

I refer, in Larry Campbell’s case, to his pronouncement (in support of the federal Liberal agenda) that the Conservatives are “barbarians and fools.” I remember hearing that and thinking “how ignorant and low-brow of him.” I was left to wonder who Larry Campbell thinks he is to make such a rude, inaccurate, inflammatory, defamatory and un-statesman-like pronouncement about opposition members with different opinions than his own.

We must all wonder how Senator Campbell would treat Conservative legislation if put before him in the senate ... it seems he would reject it out of hand just because its from the 'barbarians and fools' ...instead of being from his political soul mates, the Liberals (the liars and cheats.) Funny too how Campell was so hurt at personal attacks on him in municipal politics ...but feels free to make such blanket personal attacks himself. There we go ...double standards ...another sought after Liberal trait! Hey ...he's a natural!

I’ll tell you who Campbell really is; he’s just a crass entertainer – certainly not a statesman, and certainly not someone who possess the objective wisdom to qualify with the classic definition of a Senator as a wise and fair elder. Larry Campbell, for all intents and purposes, seems a one-issue man … to legalize drugs …after all what else in his political track record (if it can be called that) has he pursued with such zeal? Nothing comes to my mind!

I must say, though, that decisions in Courts across Canada (particularly British Columbia) are a great argument against Campbell’s position. Why? Simple, because the inane decision’s we see from the bench all too often certainly must be a wonderful argument against drug use on campus in the 60's! Campbell appears to support the idea of assisting others to become ineffective burn-outs as well …that doesn’t bode well at all for the future!

In the final analysis Larry Campbell’s appointment to the Senate was a nice gift from Paul Martin for behaving like a good Liberal …certainly not on the basis of any worthwhile or unique qualifications.

And speaking of qualifications, - Michaelle Jean (the descendant of slaves and child of political exiles) – what qualifications??? From what I can see, just another entertainer, and apparently one who entertains ideas of Quebec separation, it would appear. So as the Queen’s representative in Canada (more on that in a moment) we have someone who not only has no qualifications for the post but also someone who favours breaking up the country! Good choice Paul!!

Is it too much to imagine (knowing Liberal tactics) to think that maybe, just maybe, Ms. Jean was appointed more to impress voting blocks (women and immigrants) and to keep a carrot in front of the pro-Liberal CBC than on the basis of actual qualifications? I think not!

Now, just to add pain to confusion, let’s spend a moment looking at the Governor General post itself (the Queen’s vice-regal Representative), Why does that post even exist since the Queen has neither interest nor influence in Canada? The Queen is the figurehead ruler of Britain, not of Canada and we, in Canada, have had no obligation to British governance since Dec 11th, 1931 when the Statute of Westminster was signed making the provinces of Canada self governing. To quote section 4 of that document, it says:

“4. No Act of Parliament of the United Kingdom passed after the commencement of this Act shall extend or be deemed to extend, to a Dominion as part of the law of that Dominion, unless it is expressly declared in that Act that that Dominion has requested, and consented to, the enactment thereof.”

At that point in our history the provinces were the ultimate authority, and the federal parliament was made null and void until the provinces (via Citizen Assemblies) had written a constitution to outline and define the role, function and limits of a federal parliament (government). Britain was out of the picture.

After 1931, federal governance of Canada was hijacked with no lawful authority and has existed ever since on ‘presumption’ (i.e. they didn’t object so we presumed it was OK for us to govern, regardless that they were never given the facts.) This has been accomplished in collusion with provincial politicians who also stayed mum about provincial sovereignty under the Statute of Westminster …except Quebec of course and that is the crux of all the separatist activity.

The Statute of Westminster negated the British North America Act …yet we’ve been told its our “constitution” even though …and federal politician even amended it in 1949 to favour their own political objectives! How do you amend something that isn’t in force? Who gave the politicians permission to use, much less amend a ‘constitution document’ not even written by the people who should own the constitution of a free country?

In 1982, Pierre Trudeau’s “Constitution Act” repealed section 4 and literally handed us back to the British. What right did Trudeau have to do that? None!

The ‘federal government’ of Canada was created by a fraud and has existed via fraud ever since. Perhaps that explains why Canada’s “Natural Governing Party” has done so well over the decades – they were so adept at gaining and maintaining power through dishonesty, bribery, connivance, deceit, misinformation, dis-information and fear mongering.

Perhaps it also goes a long way to explain political appointments to the Senate and Judiciary … it’s called “stacking the deck” and that has never been the sign of those who are operating honestly, ethically or with noble intentions. No, those are the signs of greedy people with something to hide who need to win at any cost, regardless of whose rights, privileges or lives get trampled in the process.

Wake up my fellow Canadians before we get taken all the way down into the sewer by an elite few who could care less about you or I.

The Honour of Chuck Cadman MP

…unfortunately a one of a kind politician.

Coming from Paul Martin, leader of Canada’s most corrupt political party ever, his description of Chuck Cadman as an example of what all Parliamentarians should be sounded thin and insincere despite the utter truth of it. Come to think of it, if all parliamentarians were so, there would likely be no Liberal Party of Canada!

Chuck Cadman went to Ottawa reluctantly as a politician, but eagerly as someone who wanted to effect very necessary changes, particularly in the areas of justice and victims rights. It seems odd that those are things anyone should have to fight or lobby for in government …should not those things be natural acts of government? To me it seems so. To me it seems that government’s first responsibility to the people who elect it should be the protection of honest, hardworking citizens. It should not matter which party or which MP tables such bills …acting on them should be as expedient and natural as breathing!

Unfortunately, Canada’s “Natural Governing Party” (according to them) is too worried about protecting the rights of offenders, and too busy playing politics with every issue to accept and act decisively on a good idea from opposition or an independant.

Since the budget vote and particularly since his death last weekend, many have come forth to speak about Mr. Cadman …and it seems each one had something to say about the ways in which he was different. One thing that has not been said is about how he was different in respect to his relationship to his constituents. That relationship was significantly central to his budget vote.

Mr. Cadman didn’t vote for the Liberal budget because he necessarily agreed with it, nor because he supported or endorsed the Liberals in general. I was disappointed that he voted as he did because we lost an opportunity to fire a dishonest, corrupt government …something I think should be a matter of course under such circumstances. However, when I heard his reason for voting as he did I had to respect it and had to support it because it illustrated how an elected person SHOULD behave …his vote highlighted a significant difference between Mr. Cadman and typical parliamentarians ...perhaps most significantly because it was something he was not required to do even under law.

His reason: Because his constituents did not want to go to the polls so soon.

In an earlier post I addressed this very issue to underscore a huge flaw in our system and to shed further light on the fact that “democracy” in Canada is just a word when it comes right down to it. The example I used is worth repeating.

Believe it or not, an ‘elected’ individual is under NO legal obligation to listen to a single thing you or I say! But you need not believe me …instead you can believe Justice, E.A. Marshall of The Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta who heard docket number 9012000725 on the 10th of December 1990. Apparently some constituents brought suit against their MP for his failure to represent their wishes. In Justice Marshall’s decision he said:

“ I know of no legal duty on an elected representative at any level of government to consult with his constituents or determine their views. While such an obligation may generally be considered desirable, there is no legal requirement.”

The loss of Chuck Cadman is a loss to all of Canada …but perhaps he will leave a legacy other than his obvious contributions. That legacy would, by his example, serve as a humiliation to all those politicians who put power, influence and party agendas ahead of the right thing to do. Wouldn’t it be nice to see politicians voting issues on their merits rather than based on what party label is on it? What about voting in accordance with the expressed wishes of their employers (constituents) rather than in accordance with directives from party brass? Wouldn’t it be nice indeed ...but realistically its about as likely to happen as its likely that Canada will be an actual democracy or have an actual constitution any time soon. Pity, this could have been such a great country for the average person, instead of just for politicians and financiers!

Unlike most, Chuck Cadman actually deserved the title "Honourable".

Suicide Bombers Devastate Toronto Subway!

…the headline we’d rather not read …but very well may.

On July 7th London commuters died and were injured by bombs planted on the transit system while going about their business on what seemed a typical day. “Typical” became “horrific” almost as fast as you can say those two words. Even though the British are more accustomed to terrorist action, are better prepared for it and take a harder line with terrorists and their supporting organizations …no one was expecting it.

Here in Canada our politicians have patted our heads since 9/11 while comforting us that Canadians are not at risk. To prove their point, anti-terrorism measures have amounted more to lip service and another tax grab than to actual security …which is particularly troubling since what security we had beforehand had been decimated over time and was guided more by Liberal ‘politically correct’ doctrine than effectiveness. How weak and defenseless we've become!

I’m going to give Stewart Bell’s book ‘Cold Terror’ another plug here because Canadians need to WAKE UP and realize that we do not live in some lovely little polite cocoon, where we are insulated from all the world’s bad guys. We are, in fact, on the bin Laden hit list …because we’re westerners, we’re affluent, we sent troops to Afghanistan and we are non-Muslim …therefore we are infidels and completely expendable in the pursuit of their goals! So get the book (Cold Terror) read it twice and put away the rose-coloured glasses. (The sidebar has an Amazon link to the book and a summary is in the article here.)

Read the following statement carefully:

CANADA IS RAPIDLY BECOMING KNOWN AS A SPONSOR STATE OF TERRORISM.

That statement is not fiction or conjecture …it is a FACT. It does not mean that the average Canadian approves of or assists terrorism by Hezbollah, the Tamils, al Qaida or any other terrorist organization. It does mean that our so-called elected ‘leaders’ have failed and continue failing to take terrorism seriously and implement effective measures to counter the threat. In fact, our so-called leaders actually cavort with and endorse terrorist organizations headquartered in Canada because they do not want to isolate the voters in those related ethnic communities. What makes that particularly sickening is that the majority of people in those ethnic communities are being terrorized by those terrorist organizations to raise funds to support their causes. Our politicians, however, seem content to take the word of terrorist leaders and fund raisers that they are only raising money to buy tractors for their homelands. So they stand by, stand down, stick their hands in their pockets and present Canadians with a stream of rhetoric about how on-top of the situation they are and how safe we are ….WRONG.

Eventually it will be Canada’s turn to suffer a significant terrorist event. It might be the TTA suffering something similar to yesterday’s carnage in London. Perhaps it will be another Air India style attack. Maybe we’ll read about large bombs going off simultaneously on a couple of crowded BC Ferries! Or an airplane will fly into the Calgary Tower and topple it into the downtown core! Terrorists love big headlines!

When that occurs, what will those politicians say then? How will they spin the blame to the RCMP and CSIS (who they control)? But most importantly: What will each of us say to ourselves in the mirror, and how will we excuse ourselves for allowing it to happen, by allowing weak, self-involved, naïve and corrupt people to continue to hold the reins of control in this country?

Am I plugging Stewart Bell’s book? YES …because we all need more facts than have been spoon-fed to us by Ottawa!! Am I being ‘partisan’ politically? YES …because there is a long, long track record of Liberal governments making us weaker and more vulnerable, and an equally long track record of those same governments doing what benefits their lust to stay in power more so than what is best for the country as a whole. In fact, that’s not ‘partisan’ ..that’s just simple history!

The average decent, hardworking Canadian is no more a sponsor of terrorism than the average decent, hardworking American is a blood-thirsty war monger. Unfortunately in each country certain people have weaseled their way into power who are not there to benefit the country …only themselves. This brings me to the point I carp on and on about … WE need to get full and firm control of these elected clowns who run amok with our money, our futures, our security and our very safely. WE can only to that with FACTS and the FACTS we need to focus on will NOT be forthcoming from either Ottawa or the CBC.

Get with it Canada ...contrary to what Ottawa would have us believe, the world is a tough place with some nasty actors pulling some really dangerous strings. The political rhetoric sounds good to peace loving people, but when the firestorms rain down it will be they who are in the protective bunkers we paid for …not us. In Canada, we seem to have been taught that strength is synonymous with aggression …what a distortion of fact.

To have a strong, well-equipped military and properly funded and supported police agencies does not mean we suddenly embark on a course of world domination and internal Fascism …it means we are able to protect our peace and security in the face of those bad guys who are outside of as well as inside our country.

So, to the next Liberal politician who tries to tell you that a strong military will attract problems to us or that strong police forces or border security are not necessary, ask them two questions:

1) Who’s side are you really on?, and
2) Who’s country is it anyway?

The True Canadian Identity?

Canada Day …so many celebrations planned …Paul Martin and so many other politicians at podiums extolling carefully scripted speeches from the heart (written by someone else, of course) about all it means to be a “Canadian”. Personally, the last thing I wanted to do was listen to a politician beaking off so I decided to do something very symbolic of modern day Canada …my laundry …so I took myself to the cleaners, rather than let the government do it!

As I walked out the door I noticed that at sometime during the night small Canadian flags had been planted along the sidewalk in front of each house in the neighbourhood. Visually it was quite nice, however my visual pleasure was almost immediately replaced with suspicion about who funded this little escapade. I looked up and down the street to see if I could spot Sheila Copps hiding somewhere admiring her nocturnal flag handiwork! No sign of her …so I inspected the flag by my sidewalk more closely to find they were from a local realtor. Whew …no tax dollars involved for a change!

Throughout the day I pondered the imponderable question …What is Canada’s national identity? I don’t mean the kind of ‘sales pitch’ that Heritage Canada, Tourism Canada, Immigration Canada and others put into brochures. No, I mean what do average people in this country regard as the essence of what it is to be a ‘Canadian’, what sense of unity and patriotism do they have (if any) and why.

I wondered if Canada systemically applies Bill Cosby’s maxim for success and failure. Cosby said “I don’t know the fastest way to succeed …but I do know that the fastest way to fail is by trying to please everyone!” Is that an apt description of Canada? A country trying to be too many things all at the same time to too many, doing marginally well at some but for the most part falling short of overall success at any? It seems there is an ongoing situation in Canada where someone is always complaining that someone else got more or has more than they do and demands their ‘rights’ for equalization of some sort! Not to mention that national quirk of bad-mouthing successful people ...then demanding they share! Canada seems to celebrate mediocrity and penalize productivity and success ...is that something to be proud of?

I wondered how ‘unified’ Canada can be when the system itself promotes dis-unity by systemically identifying people by ethnicity instead of homogenizing everyone in this land under one (1) title …”Canadian”. Multiculturalism Canada, while a warm fuzzy notion, has the net effect of ghettoizing people on ethnic lines rather than uniting them under a single flag! Another failed social engineering project. While thinking about this it occurred to me that the maple leaf on our flag should probably be secondary to a hyphen (see example following.)

We’ve all noticed that hyphen because how many times per day are we confronted with groups or individuals being identified as [BLANK]-Canadian. How about just being “Canadian”? It seems to me that those pesky hyphens turn us into national room mates as opposed to a national family! Imagine if the neighbours next door all had different surnames …operated on different schedules …ate separate meals …and were always out in the back yard arguing about who got the biggest piece of pie and then further argued about who got the freshest piece. Would that seem much like a family to you?

We seem to identify ourselves (nationally) most predominantly by how much we can criticize people outside our borders …particularly Americans. We talk about our sovereignty but allow our military and border security to fall into under-funded disarray. We protect our coasts with a so-called ‘Coast Guard’ that is tasked more with counting fish and monitoring fishermen than on actually guarding the coast! Oh well, if trouble comes our way apparently we will just expect those people we criticize to the south to step in and protect us.

Lately there seems to be a new, very disturbing layer to the ‘Canadian Identity’ …one that accepts (and even endorses) fraud and corruption because we’re too afraid of some change ...because we’re gullible ...and because we’re too busy arguing amongst ourselves about who’s piece of pie is biggest to unite in anger and demand accountability, honesty and transparency from those we hire to administer our national affairs.

We are, in many respects a divided country …along lines of ethnicity, sexuality and language. There is an old maxim that says “United we stand …divided we fall” and history supports how very true that is. So the real question is “who have we been conquered by?” …perhaps our employees in Ottawa?

…Who’s life is it anyway?

The ‘governing’ Liberal Party of Canada gets its wish once again to ram yet another social engineering project down the throats of Canadians. Nothing new here. Traditionally the Liberals have considered themselves smarter, wiser and more enlightened than the unwashed masses of Canadian voters. And let us not forget that Liberals will sell themselves and the rest of us for a vote at the drop of a hat.

Having said that I must make one thing completely clear:

I, your humble and lovable serf, am not against gay rights including their right to live together in any form of relationship they choose between them.

My observation throughout this long, long ‘debate’ about the subject is that the issue has never been about whether or not gay couples should live together, love together, share together, grow old together or bond together. Its only been about the use of a word …”marriage”, since those who are religiously devout have (for thousands of years) employed that word (from their various scriptures) to connote a relationship between a man and a woman in their God’s eyes.

As I have been thinking about this whole debacle I’ve once again been faced with the obvious reality that Government considers itself too important and seeks to control more than it has any reasonable right to. This issue is a beautiful example as is heterosexual marriage. I’ll explain that with the following rhetorical questions:

Why do two people (gay or straight) require the government’s permission, or need to be governmentally licensed (for a fee, of course), to commit to each other in a ‘marriage relationship’?

Why would any relationship between two free will adults require government approval or licensing to be ‘legitimate’ in the first place?

Are not “permission” and “legitimacy” solely resident in the two individuals who are making a decision concerning their own lives?

Common Law (Anglo Saxon, not English) is the supreme law regardless of how governments over time have bastardized and subverted our natural rights under common law by writing statutes that serve only their own control objectives. That being said, the most legitimate form of ‘marriage’ is a common law marriage because it respects the natural, individual rights people have (but don’t often enough use or insist upon) to make fully legitimate decisions in their own lives that require nobody else’s input or permission …particularly the government’s.

Its important to say that just because government tells us they are in charge of something does not mean they have any right, let alone OUR PERMISSION, to do so. Remember those two words – Our permission – because we seem to have forgotten that it is we who tell government what it can, can’t, should or shouldn’t do …not the other way around. Ooops …I just remembered that we have been deprived of writing or collectively approving a constitution here in Canada … we’ve just accepted what politicians have written for us …which is mostly for themselves! Read some of my past posts for more details about that.

So here we are, the social engineers of the Liberal Party of Canada are going to shove something down the whole country’s throat which rightfully they have no reason or right to be controlling, let alone legitimizing in the first place! Unfortunately it may turn out that the net effect of this is that gay couples will find themselves ostracized and isolated by many Canadians who should more correctly be directing their displeasure, or even anger, at the social engineers in Ottawa!

Now … we’ll see if the Liberal Party of Canada is equally anxious to pass “Carley’s Law”, or “Reagan’s Law” to uphold the rights of children as aggressively as they are upholding the ‘rights’ of gay couples!!

We Stand On Guard for Fees

Coffer Security Trumps Border Security in Canada!

The Headline: A Canadian Senate committee said: “Canada must add guards along the 3,145- mile border with the U.S. and arm them with guns because local and federal police response to emergencies is too slow.” The committee further commented that the ‘guards’ should be focusing more on security than on tax collection.

The Party Line: Public Safety Minister Anne McLellan said: "I don't think it makes a lot of sense, in terms of the expenditure of resources, to have every inch of that undefended border patrolled by Canadian, RCMP, or whoever it might be, 24/7," she said. "I don't believe that is a rational use of our resources." Further comment from McLellan was that the ‘guards have pepper spray and batons and that should be sufficient.’

Canadian Border Guard Special Training Memo

If confronted with a firearm in the hands of a fleeing criminal, terrorist or drug dealer, guards are hereby directed to employ the following procedure:

1) Immediately pepper spray the individual, and

2) While the individual is rubbing his or her eyes bonk him or her on the head with your baton.

[Important Note] If the individual objects to this treatment, apologize right away and allow entry to Canada after assessing and collecting the duty and GST for the value of the firearm and bullets the person was pointing at you. Be sure to add a further 10% to cover the new 'Unlawful Firearms Importation Tax' we are currently implementing to discourage the importation and/or smuggling of black market weapons.

Anne McLellan, the woman in charge of Canada’s Public Safety, has probably never faced any greater personal danger than a spider in her bathtub, yet she seems quite comfortable informing front-line people in the public service, who could very well find themselves in mortal danger, as to what they should consider sufficient to defend themselves …let alone secure our borders in any effective way!

Next thing we know, Ms. McLellan will be suggesting we disarm our police services and instead issue them with big rubber fingers they can wag at people committing crimes!

This may come as a surprise to a lot of people, but under Liberal governance (primarily) Canada’s military has been decimated to a humiliating level, our police forces have been under-funded and depleted, and the best response they could come up with to secure our borders more effectively after 9/11 was to charge a new fee …very little of which has turned into actual security improvements!

Whether its criminals or terrorists, you have to wonder if Liberals even remotely understand the realities of the world. The way I see it there are only three options 1) they don’t understand what’s going on, 2) they can’t understand what’s going on, or 3) they’re involved in what’s going on! Somehow they [the government] seem to think that controlling and restricting those who are not a threat will somehow effectively deal with those who are!

The gun registry being a prime example of that backward logic …how many criminals or terrorists do you think went and registered the weapons they plan to use in the commission of their various crimes? Does the number ‘ZERO’ come to mind? The registry simply created another bureaucracy and provided another avenue to collect yet more money …it does nothing for public safety, but it did mangage to dispense with a couple billion dollars that were unneeded for anything else ...just a bit of 'laundry' change to Ottawa!

The sex offender registry …another ‘winner’ …not being retroactive, it only starts to work as new victims are created ...how lovely and utterley socially responsible of those Liberal Party sages ...I'm sure all those future victims will appreciate how serioulsy Coach Chretien and his band of looters took their safety! Of course, there’s a logical reason the registry is not retroactive …Jean Chretien’s step son would have been on that retroactive list!

The airport security fee may be a great revenue source for the feds, but so far its done nada for actual security unless the political rhetoric (hot air) about it is supposed to convince the bad guys that Canada isn’t worth bothering with …I guess bin Laden just stroked us right off his list when he heard about that fee! Afterall, I'm sure bin Laden watches the Al Quida budget carefully, and the money those fees would cost his terrorists could be put to much better use buying Semtex or C4 to make bombs. To quote McLellan "I don't believe that is a rational use of our resources."

All levity aside, the threat of terrorism and the presence of terrorism in Canada is more real than most Canadians realize, and you won't find Ottawa issuing any press releases about it because they hate having fingers pointed at them.

Crocodile Tiers for Canada’s Health Care

OK fellow serfs, lets get a few facts straight:

Canada belongs to us …not Ottawa

Our skills & labour belong to us …not Ottawa

Our incomes belong to us …not Ottawa

Our property belongs to us …not Ottawa

Our freedom belongs to us …not Ottawa

Our bodies belong to us …not Ottawa, and

Our health belongs to us …not Ottawa.

Got it? Good! Now lets proceed with a few other pertinent facts because we Canadians have been far too lax about standing up for ourselves and our natural rights under natural law.

Once you have voluntarily surrendered at least 50% of your income to Ottawa, what you do with the balance is nobody’s business but yours …not even Ottawa’s! If you choose to spend your ‘excess’ income to promote, maintain or repair your own health, that is your business …not Ottawa’s.

Ottawa has no moral, legal or ‘constitutional’ right, prerogative or privilege to legislate, regulate or mandate that you or I must endure ill health, pain, suffering or risk of premature demise …which is (in effect) the result of bad management and Ottawa’s obsessive control issues pertaining to health care delivery in Canada. Restricting your right to spend your after-tax dollars on your own health violates the Magna Carta (yes, it still applies), your rights under Anglo Saxon Common Law (yes, it certainly still applies), as well as under the 'Canadian Bill of Rights'!

Secretly, Ottawa likes the availability of private medical facilities that do take pressure off the public system …it means less financial liability to them. The fine of $75,000 levied on British Columbia recently is a joke …on scale its about equivalent to you or I being fined a penny for speeding while not wearing a seat belt in an unlicensed car after four double martinis. Fines are supposed to be a deterrent and must have sufficient impact on the wallet to make it uncomfortable ...therefore providing incentive not to repeat the infraction. A minuscule fine such as that one is simply window dressing to support the political rhetoric.

Speaking of rhetoric, lets get a definition straight. Those who rabidly defend our current inefficient, under-funded and over-burdened system use the term "jump the queue". The use of this language implies that someone with more means is getting 'preferential treatment' and is blatantly false, misleading and inflammatory!

Someone who uses their own money to provide their own health care is 'leaving the queue' ...not "jumping" it. This misuse of language is intentionally aimed at making those who cannot afford to leave the queue jealous and resentful of those who are able to do so. Of course, this represents decades of 'Liberal indoctrination' that pushes Canadians toward mediocrity moreso than achievement and excellence.

Ottawa knows the math quite well. If you have 20 people in a line and two remove themselves (at their own expense) then you only have 18 left …the 18th person in line will have a two-person shorter wait, and the system will have two people less to pay for. What part of that would be a math challenge for a second grader? Ottawa also knows full well that we already have a multi-tiered health care system …they just don’t mention it. Just as they don’t mention that politicians make ample use of those ‘other’ tiers not to mention those 'evil American facilities'!

Those who think Ottawa cares the least about service delivery in health care are fooling themselves. The real issues (from Ottawa’s perspective) are very simple …their issues are only about power and control …in the same fashion they seek to control just about everything else! Think how much political and economic power there is for Ottawa in having total control over the health care system.

To do that, all you have to do is think back to the last election and remember how Paul Martin, regardless of what question was asked, droned on and on and on about health care …and about the disaster that would occur if the wicked Conservatives were allowed to "destroy health care" and replace it with an “American-style system". (Forget for a moment that there was no factual basis to those hysterical claims.) Martin had people running scared enough, over that one item, to literally forget all about the AdScam scandal and therefore vote the Liberals back into office ...even in the face of demonstrable fraud and malfeasance by those same Liberals!!

As a further measure of control, think about how many taxes and fees are justified in the name of “health care” ...then think about how nice it is for Ottawa to control all those revenues and use them as a stick to influence the behavior of the provinces! The really aggravating part is that under the so-called ‘constitution’ that Ottawa trots out when convenient, “health care” is exclusively a provincial jurisdiction …as is direct taxation (income tax.) Yet Ottawa has continually taken more control of those exclusively provincial powers, and with that control the massive cash flow stemming from them. That same cash is then held for a 'ransom' to be paid in the form of political cooperation and/or capitulation to Ottawa's demands by the provinces!

The provinces literally must then go begging, cap in hand, to Ottawa for funds that should NEVER have left the provincial treasuries in the first place. That, my fellow serfs, is called C-O-N-T-R-O-L and with that comes P-O-W-E-R. If you think your health or mine is of the least importance in this game you’re sadly mistaken …the raw truth is that you and I are (in the big game) expendable. We exist only to provide Ottawa (at least in Ottawa’s opinion) with whatever Ottawa wants or demands.

Next time some political weasel like Ujjal Dosanjh tries to tell you they are “working hard on health care”, hear that statement for what it really means …that they are 'working hard to have absolute CONTROL over health care' …and if that lust for control means your mother or mine spends 18 months or more in pain, waiting for necessary surgery …well she’s simply part of an ‘acceptable casualty level’ while the larger political aims are being achieved ...or should that be that "thieved"?

Wholly Dichotomy, Batman!!

The Liberal Party (temporarily the Government of Canada) is clearly running scared …again!

Riddle me this, Batman ...When is a position not a position?
The answer, of course, is when its part of Liberal rhetoric or a Liberal platform. Have you ever noticed (of course you have) that when the Liberals debate an opposing point or position they do so with slander, disinformation and/or fear …rather than with facts or plans?

Tony Valeri stood up in the House of Commons recently (as a good scared Liberal) and announced that Canadians should be afraid of the “unholy alliance” represented by Stephen Harper. Huh? Just a minute now, wasn’t the line Liberals used until now that we should be afraid of Harper and company because they are an ‘extreme religious right’? OK Mr. Valeri, The Serf is officially confused as to what it is the Naturally Dishonest Party of Canada is trying to warn us of! Are we supposed to fear Harper and friends because they are ‘too holy’ or 'too unholy’? Please clarify this for us. Oh, sorry, I guess you can’t do that …you’re a Liberal and therefore firmly planted on whichever side of the fence serves your immediate political needs!

Let me think now: We are faced with the choice between the “unholy alliance” (according to the Liberals) of Stephen Harper, or the 'unethical alliance' of Liberals and more Liberals …with some NDP socialists thrown in because they’ve been paid for. OK …if you want me to choose, Mr. Valeri, I think I’d have to go with Harper & Co. since their ‘unholiness’ is UN-PROVEN (sorry, Tony, your rhetoric doesn’t constitute proof in my mind), versus choosing Liberals who (despite waiting for a few dotted ‘i’s and crossed ‘t’s due in from Justice Gomery) have clearly been caught [Liberal] red-handed with both hands, one foot and a snout in the proverbial cookie jar! Was that supposed to have been a tough choice? Speculation versus proof??

Gurmant (Secret Squirrel) Grewall may be an opportunistic nimrod …but nothing he’s done is anywhere near as covert and sneaky as Liberal Party antics have been shown to be. Ujjal (Nudge, Nudge, Wink Wink) Dosanjh and Tim (I’m The Man) Murphy illustrate the fact that the Liberals are still quite content to operate under-the-table …but what else is new? It seems to me that the Liberals are on pretty shaky ground to be making value judgments about ANYONE …that includes Harper, Grewal, Conservatives in general or anyone else domestic or foreign!

What’s worse is that once again Liberal tactics take the forefront in the form of scare-mongering rhetoric …just like those phantom Conservative “aircraft carriers.” Joseph Goebels would be proud of the Liberals for their mastery of his propaganda doctrines! 'Just keep repeating the lie and sooner or later it will be accepted as fact.' Sadder still is that it SURE SEEMS TO WORK!

And while all this ‘entertaining’ political intrigue is going on in the House of Commons, not a single meaningful issue is getting due attention while a lot of well paid spoiled brats point fingers at each other or go “nya nya nya nya nya”. Meanwhile millions of over-taxed Canadians are at work sweating over putting in enough time or producing enough results to have an after-tax income that can support their families. And the Liberals want a logo to underscore the “nobility” of the House of Commons? Funny, I wasn’t aware that ‘inbred’ was spelled “n-o-b-i-l-i-t-y”!

What a sickening, pathetic show (just check with Nina Grewal if you don't believe me …she’s likely watching CPAC right now.) What a revolting waste of the money supplied by all those millions of honest, hard-working Canadians working without the guarantees, perks and pensions of those who consider themselves wiser, smarter, better and more important (oh …don’t forget “noble”.)

Have I mentioned we need an actual constitution in this country?

Who but Grewal himself knows, at this point, what he was up to …whatever it was and either way it cuts, it was dumb. If, in fact, he was merely responding to an ‘invitation to talk’ from the Liberal camp, he should have immediately time-stamped the event by contacting Harper and letting him know he was going to attend the meeting and tape it covertly. That way he would have been able to substantiate his story and motivations. But no, Agent 003¼ decided to turn cowboy and do a solo run …really dumb. On the other hand, if it was he who approached the Liberals with an offer; Why would he tape the meetings and create potential evidence against himself? Just as dumb!

Dumber still are Dosanjh and Murphy. With all that has been going on in Ottawa, ala Gomery, are these guys idiots to even TRY something with a legal and political downside? To even put themselves into a position where suspicion could fall? Tres dumb, boys!

Follow the motives. On one hand you have a minor-league MP who may or may not gain some advancement (shades of Jezzebel Stronach) by crossing the floor and/or by voting a certain way on the budget. On the other are two operatives representing a minority government on the brink of a defeat, representing a loss of all that coveted power and influence. Take into account also that those two operatives represent an organization that is oblivious to ethics in its pursuit of power.

So who had the most to gain (and/or lose) by entering into back-room ‘negotiations’? Clearly it’s the Liberal Party of Canada, currently occupying the position of government! Faced with the specter of a federal election, at the height of damaging disclosures out of the Gomery Inquiry, how confident would the Liberals have been about winning government again? Even THEIR arrogance was not enough to confidently face THAT prospect! So, I think its fair to say that given their desperation, and given their demonstrable track record for shady tactics, suspicions about wrong-doing rest more easily with the Liberals than they do on Grewal …however DUMB he may have been in his conduct!

Enter Jack Layton …naive as ever …with a call for Dosanjh to step down. While anyone would agree with the fact that Dosanjh SHOULD (as should Murphy, by the way), can anyone expect him to do so? NO. So while Layton’s direction was correct, let’s hope (for his sake) he doesn’t seriously expect it to happen …any more than he expects his brokered budget concessions to ever see the light of day outside of the desperate promises made to him by a desperate PM Martin!

Further to Layton’s naiveté is any expectation that Federal Ethics Commissioner, Bernard Shapiro (aka PMO Coverup Specialist), is likely to expose, resolve or change anything in any fashion that does not exonerate the Liberals …that’s his job because we all know who he answers to …the desperate PM, Paul Martin! He’s the ‘dumber’ one …”dumb” as in mute, silenced and quiet when told to be so.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Don’t expect anything ‘Gomeryish’ out of Shapiro …our hope lays with the rank & file members of the RCMP who will be investigating the situation. Let’s hope those RCMP members will investigate and recommend charges in a fashion that will make us proud of them, and which will overcome the tarnishing they have endured at the hands of politicians who under-fund them and use them as scapegoats for political failures.

Liberal MP's call for new House of Commons logo

OTTAWA - Opposition MPs could barely contain their laughter on Parliament Hill yesterday when a Liberal motion to create a new logo for the House of Commons to recognize the nobility of government was put up for debate.

“Nobility of Government” …isn’t that an oxymoron? If not, it’s a knee-slapper of a joke coming from the mouth of a Liberal Member of Parliament! However, since your friendly neighbourhood Feudal Serf is always up for a challenge, I had the talent at Tactical Graphic Design come up with an image based on some suggestions that came immediately to mind! So, without further guilding or lilly …taa daaaa!

Of course, the opposition responded with riotous laughter ...what else could they do? Applaud? Of course not, they’re the opposition …but is was funny!!

That’s it! …your Feudal Serf is officially becoming a ‘separatist’. Not the kind you’re thinking though! Actually I’ve been thinking about this for a while …let me explain.

Our Parliamentary system functions on the basis of political parties counter-balancing each other by virtue of debate in the House of Commons. Theoretically that should work …except it doesn’t because of one glaring flaw. The flaw is that from about one second after any particular election, politicians of all persuasions are on the campaign trail setting up for the next election.

Those in government are busily spending money that’s not theirs to ensure votes for next time, and opposition members are opposing government initiatives because its their job to oppose ..thus the name “opposition”. The trouble is that they oppose for the sake of opposing, not necessarily because the proposition is a bad one! This leads to a lot of confusion in the public and a lot of wasted time an energy on capitol hill!

The other problem with this system is that we end up with the sort of political polarity we have ..the either or … the devil you know versus the devil you don’t, etc. It means that the broad spectrum of thought across the minds of all Canadians is forced to side with one of a very few ideological options represented by a few ideological parties. To me this doesn’t seem to be very representative of popular opinion, will or wish!

Another problem stemming from the party system is that any given party is always pushing to conduct ‘social engineering’ along the lines of their particular ideological bent! This is not the job of government to conduct social engineering …or re-engineering. The real job of government is to administer …simply administer the practical affairs of the nation. Parties bring into effect a certain ‘gang mentality’ that forces itself upon us.

So I’m suggestion separatism …that is, to separate all those parties into individual members. Abolish parties. Every MP elected would be an independent and accountable to those who hired him or her …period. Motions introduced in the house would be debated by those individuals and then voted upon by those individuals. It seems to me that such a system would force better scrutiny of ideas, slow down the process enabling more thorough examination and debate and would eliminate forced block voting to ram ideas through.

We all know that most MPs are simply back-benchers who raise their hands to vote on issues in accordance with what the party brass has commanded …not in accordance with what their constituents want. And don’t forget that according to law in Canada (law written by politicians) an MP is under NO legal obligation to pay any attention to the wishes of constituents …regardless of anything promised at the podium during an election!

Effective recall would be a definite requirement too …if someone begs us at the podium for a job and we give it to him or her, then turns around and ignores our wishes, we need to fire that person and hire someone who listens! How many times have you heard someone complain that ‘government never listens to us’? Well, “political parties” are the reason …so a house full of independents who can be fired for not listening to their bosses (us) is definitely the solution!

This just makes too much sense! Imagine it! What would you call a country that is actually governed in accordance with the wishes of the people (the rightful owners & masters of the country)? Personally, I’d call it a “DEMOCRACY.” What a concept!

Once Again We Pay For Folly

Here’s the headline:

" The Liberal government has set up a war room -- at a cost of about $1-million to taxpayers -- to handle the fallout from the Gomery commission. "

Once again, circumstances beg the question: Who’s money is it anyway?

Should we be surprised? Not at all. It’s just ‘business as usual’ wherein Canadians have been fleeced for tax dollars and politicians (regarding it as their own money) spend those dollars on what benefits themselves.

Public funds should NOT be used to deal with a problem of the Liberal Party of Canada. Period. If the Liberal party has a problem with their credibility, the Liberal Party should be paying from its own treasury to deal with it. To take that million or so dollars from the public treasury represents a theft and conversion of funds …particularly where those funds were forced from people who do not support the Liberal Party of Canada! Rhetorically; how many non-Liberal Canadians went without to supply the dollars that Liberal politicians are now spending to bolster an image tarnished by their own malfeasance and wrong doing?

Look at this action and see if you can distinguish any difference between it and the subject of the Gomery Commission! Public money being craftily converted to the partisan use (and benefit) of the federal Liberal Party. Its just that simple …but apparently its too simple for the Liberals to understand. Either that or because Canadians didn’t kick them the hell out of office when this AdScam business first surfaced, they presume we are OK with that sort of misuse of public money! Is it arrogance, ignorance, dishonesty or a combination of the three? Perhaps its just a matter that the ‘natural governing party’ believes that Canadians are to apathetic and/or dense to catch on to this latest abuse?

Once again there is a premise here that repeats itself over and again in a variety of scenarios. That premise is that they (Ottawa) perceive themselves as the masters who can do as they will, and we are the work-a-bee serfs who’s only role is to work to supply the masters with what they want, wish for or need. WRONG.

A strong message to Ottawa is needed:

We, the Canadian public, hereby inform you that the jig is up. You have been given ample opportunity to prove yourselves as responsible, ethical and honest stewards of the public trust. Unfortunately you have failed at these fiduciary responsibilities consistently and have cost Canadians increasingly great sums of money, not to mention considerable embarrassment on the international stage.

Your mismanagement of public affairs and lack of willingness to accept responsibility are unacceptable and we regard your conversion of public funds to cover your own incompetence an act of theft. However, we realize that since you were hired without a proper contract (constitution) in place, you have made your own job descriptions and guidelines along the way. At this you have failed to demonstrate either good faith or any sense of responsibility to those who gave you the job in the first place – us.

As ‘lawmakers’, supposedly working in the public interest, you have failed badly also. Laws enacted by you have increasingly put Canadians at risk from both internal and external threats, yet have increasingly placed yourselves above and beyond accountability, scrutiny or control. This, we feel, is entirely opposite to principles necessary in a healthy and properly functioning democracy.

We are furthermore very distressed concerning the ‘accuracy’ and ‘completeness’ of your reports to us regarding your activities and performance. It has come to our attention that you have seen fit to hire an unusually large number of specialized writers whose sole purpose is to arrange information presented to us in a confusing, obfuscated, incomplete and inaccurate manner. We find this to be a deceitful, dishonest practice that is designed specifically to hide your inability to perform satisfactorily, your intentional misuse of the trust and authority you have been given by us, and the misuse and redirection of our funds to accommodate your own agendas over time. This is an entirely fraudulent practice on your part.

Please be informed that your employment is due to be terminated imminently. The positions you currently occupy will be filled again, but on a temporary basis while restructuring is underway. This aforesaid restructuring will be in the form of a board-appointed Restructuring Committee (Citizen’s Assembly) which will be reviewing and rewriting the terms of the employment contract (constitution). You and others seeking to fill the available jobs will not be invited to or be present at the meetings of the Restructuring Committee.

When the Restructuring Committee has completed its work, and that work has been ratified by the public, you and others will be permitted to reapply for the jobs once more under the new terms of employment. This should represent a sober consideration for you as many of your past activities will afterward viewed in terms of the Criminal Code of Canada and prosecution for malfeasance and abuse will be automatically prosecuted criminally. The cost of defense will rest solely with the accused. We advise you to take this seriously into consideration when considering reapplication for your jobs if your intent is to continue operating as you have in the past.

The Golden Rule Thrives in Canada

Remember – “He who has the gold, rules!”

Ottawa not only collects, often by devious means, a disproportionate percentage of Canadian incomes, it also hoards the cash as if that cash was it’s own for exclusively its own purposes. This seems odd given that Ottawa is not a deity to whom tribute is paid …Ottawa is a servant of its collective master – us. Ottawa is nothing more than the custodian of public funds that must be fairly redirected back to the public in order to serve the pubic good and public need, and for the purposes they were collected in the first place! At least that’s the theory!

Have you ever noticed how the federal ‘government’ seeks to claim more power and more control in addition to more money? Control …that’s the issue and money is the vehicle that underpins the Golden Rule – “he who has the gold, rules.”

The gold serves as the bait …bait for cooperation, bait for concessions and (more often than not) bait for votes …votes that collectively establish ongoing power and therefore control! We don’t seem to get it that we give Ottawa so much of what it wants in exchange for dollars that were (and are) ours to start with!

The first really great question is; “Why do we send all that money to Ottawa in the first place?” The second really great question is; “Where did Ottawa get the idea it is ‘owed’ anything?” If you listen, you’ll often hear the expression “federal government dollars” from either politicians or often those in media. We seem to have heard it so often, over time, that (ala Joseph Goebels) we have come to believe it! Such is true of many other things as well.

The name Joseph Goebels is synonymous with "propaganda". Goebels was the minister of propaganda for the Nazi government of Adolph Hitler and spread the wild stories of German racial superiority and ultimate victory in World War II. Generally propaganda is "any systematic, widespread, deliberate indoctrination by way of deception and/or distortion." Joseph Goebels certainly did all of that and although I’m not suggesting anyone in Ottawa is a Nazi, the fact is that Goebels’ ‘teachings’ are well established as method to control mass thinking. One of the more famous maxims is that ‘if a lie is told often enough it will eventually be accepted as the truth.’

A recent example of this method in action was during the last federal election where Liberal candidates all chorused the lie that the Conservatives were going to “buy aircraft carriers.” Remember that? There was no question that was an outright distortion and lie …yet the public bought it after hearing it often enough …regardless of obvious and demonstrable facts to the contrary!

Back to the gold …the lie that its their money to do with as they will …a lie that has been told over many years and now is just accepted without much question. In the recent confidence vote over the budget OUR money was used to BUY the support of the NDP in the house! Jack Layton may claim that he redirected spending for noble purposes and to some degree that may be true.

However, the bottom line is that he endorsed a corrupt government in exchange for funding for his own political agenda. Had Layton wanted to demonstrate his moral convictions he should have FIRST ensured that the corruption and dishonesty was swept out FIRST. After that Mr. Layton could have tested his noble goals before voters …but since he had no confidence of mass support he sided with the Liberals. And poor Jack, little does he know that all those dollars he sold out for will never find their way to those he wanted them to go to …regardless of the promises made to him by Martin and company who can find any number of ways to squirm out of keeping those promises!

How much of gas taxes ever turn into transportation infrastructure? How many of those tax dollars collected in the name of healthcare actually get spent on doctors, nurses and equipment? Do income taxes pay for services? (no they don’t, they just pay interest on the debt) It just goes on and on and somehow for all the money collected, the government is always too broke to pay for anything properly …unless of course its something on their own agenda and particularly when its coming up on election time …then the money seems to fall off trees.

Our own money is used to control us … shouldn’t we stop that? We need a proper constitution with rules made by us (the people) for those we hire in Ottawa to abide by. Its just that simple and just that urgent …before things get even further out of hand!

350,000,000 REASON$

...and one very obvious conclusion.

The Gomery Commission is doing it's job and Justice John Gomery is distinguishing himself in Canadian legal and political history. It seems strange twist of fate that the one thing Prime Minister Paul Martin will be remembered for doing right is selecting Justice Gomery for the task of unraveling and exploring the Adscam Sponsorship Program Scandal.

There has been an obvious conclusion emerging since Auditor General Sheila Fraser first blew the lid off Adscam ...some in high office, holding positions of great public trust are as crooked as the local fence who trades in stolen goods and obscures his sources and methods ...and are as dishonest as the white collar thieves in Enron who orchestrated and manipulated facts and people to their own selfish benefit and profit.

Only Paul Martin knows the intimate reasons he chose John Gomery in particular ...in the meantime he claims to have known nothing at all about what was going on and his selection of Gomery would seem to support that claim since Gomery is so efficient in his pursuit of the truth. On the other hand, perhaps one of those 'intimate reasons' lays in the premise that Martin actually did not have a direct hand in the AdScam Sponsorship activities and therefore felt that a thorough inquiry would leave him unscathed since, by rules of evidence, he was not a party to the activities. But who was likely at the helm and who has been Paul Martin's chief nemesis all these long years? Jean Chretien of course. Would that speak to motivation to launch an inquiry and install a very capable man such as John Gomery? It would seem more than reasonable to postulate so!

However, before we light up a giant halo for Paul Martin, let's look at another reasonable conclusion. It's true that Martin was an outsider where Jean Chretien's circle of intimates and cohorts is and was concerned. Reasonably that alone would have excluded him from directly participating in the dark plans ...but it would not exclude him from knowing. No one can tell me that a Finance Minister would not be aware or alerted to what was afoot …especially when hundreds of millions of dollars are concerned!

Reasonably, also, Martin's political opportunism and the personal enmity toward Jean Chretien may well have kept his lips sealed in the hope that scandal revelations would have brought Chretien down …leaving the PM's office door open to Martin! Paul Martin should have been the first and loudest whistle-blower …not a passive observer waiting for his moment of opportunity! To say he knew nothing is one of two things: A lie, or a blatant admission of incredible incompetence, possibly because his attentions were more on seizing power than on the intricacies of the Finance portfolio!

Did you notice how Jean Chretien exited politics early, even though having clearly said he would not retire early? (Was that ducking when inside intelligence suggested the lid was about to come off AdScam?) Could the little scrapper from Shawinigan have been run out of office early? (When did Jean Chretien ever back down from a fight?) And isn’t it interesting how much effort Chretien (and Gagliano) have put into derailing the Gomery Commission? Clearly ‘facts’ are not a popular item …guilty people simply do no like the facts getting in the way of their claims of innocence!

No matter how you cut it, or however many tangents that may be fun to explore and gossip about, ONE FACT remains clear …the AdScam Sponsorship could never have happened without cooperation and influence at the highest levels. Period. As of yesterday’s news, we now have 350,000,000 reasons why the Liberal government should be brought down as soon as possible …regardless of how inconvenient it would be for so many to have to trudge off to vote when they’d rather not …too bad, national interest is more important and anyone who thinks rooting out that level of dishonesty and corruption are less than a national priority is a national fool.

The Unsurprising Surprise

Politics makes strange bedfellows indeed!

Belinda Stronach isn’t a popular woman right now …nor is she considered particularly ethical, nor loyal to the people who hired her to be an MP …her constituents. You’d think she believes she was elected because people like her …rather than elected for what she purportedly represented at the podium (the place where candidates plead with us for the job) which was the ‘blue’ resistance to the red rougue Liberal Party of Canada.

The bottom line seems to be Ms. Stronach’s sexual interests …"conservative love making” with boyfriend Peter McKay represents her softer side. However, the wild vixen within her prefers to slide into bed with Liberal Prime Minister Paul Martin to give Canadians as a whole a thorough screwing!

How surprised should we truly be that Belinda Stronach would rise and cross the floor to join the corrupt and arrogant Liberal party? Not much really. After all the rookie MP was lured with a cabinet post …right? Possibly not, since Ms. Stronach and Paul Martin share yet another intimacy not well known …as co-board members for outfits such as Montreal’s Power Corp …a key player in the Kyoto ruse that will see the trading of carbon credits become its own economy funded with dollars out of your pocket and mine! The real story, however, is not so much the intrigues, betrayals and sound bytes around this latest political tidbit that fascinates our inquisitive and gossipy imaginations. Once again, the real issue is that of how we ‘allow’ government to function, and how little direct control we have over our elected employees …which is virtually none.

It is far too easy to get caught up in the ongoing Ottawa soap opera …too easy to get drawn off on titillating tangents …and too frequently that we say “to hell with it” and stop trying to figure it all out -- because the day was too long and tiring as we tried to support our families on incomes that belong more to governments than they do to us! Between those few obvious factors we lose sight of a very simple truth …the system is wrong. Why is it wrong? Because it was designed by the wrong people.

In Canada, government has written its own mandate(s) all along and we are ‘consulted’ every few years to see who will sit in Ottawa and continue the charade. There has never been a constitution written by the people and given to ‘government’ as their ‘job description’ …as their framework of what we, the rightful owners of this land, give those we elect permission to do while serving us. Over time, governments have given those to themselves and it isn’t rocket science to figure out that we (the people) have been given second or third consideration behind what government wants to do. Actually a role reversal has ocurred over time in that we elect people to serve us and end up serving them!

If we were to write that framework document today, we would be wise (right out of the gate) to eliminate the word “govern” because it implies too much permission and leeway. In its place I would suggest the word “administer” because it is a far more appropriate word for what their function truly is …to simply (and ONLY) administer certain of our national affairs, (the one we give them permission to administer) …nothing more unless we have been asked for and have granted permission. I say this because I wish to underscore an important issue that has (over time) cost us billions of dollars and cost many of us untold grief.

The issue is that governments take it upon themselves to embark on enormous amounts of social engineering that reflects the particular bent of the dominant party. Those programs alter lives and destinies and once in place are all but impossible to dispense with and we end up stuck with them, stuck with the cost and stuck with the most often odious consequences ...including yet another entrenched, inefficient and costly bureaucracy!

Canada desperately needs that document (written by us and only us via Citizen's Assembly similar to that which studied electoral reform in British Columbia) that clearly and absolutely outlines the ‘job description of our elected employees'. The document is called a constitution, and anyone who tells you Canada has one is offering you a gross distortion of facts and history. Now, for today’s entertainment …tune in to your favourite news program and listen to the colourful explanations that will be coming out of Belinda Stronach concerning why she took it upon herself to decide what political stripe would represent her constituents …instead of resigning her seat immediately when her own political direction (ambitions) changed from that which got her elected in the first place! If you carry the biggest stick

…you no longer need to ask for what you want!

Did you hear the collective sigh of relief? You know, that giant “whew” …the one that occurred right around midnight on Monday! For those of you who missed it, that was the sound of millions of voices as Canadians filed tax returns by the deadline. And as we all know, that deadline is a serious issue considering the 250% fine, daily interest and risk of being carted off to jail more expediently than any car thief, child molester, drug dealer, terrorist or murderer would be …after all, the government HAS told the judiciary that ‘jail should be a last resort’ …unless of course it’s a tax-related issue! National priorities, you know!

Now it occurs to me, your humble Feudal Serf, that fair should be fair …right? That being so, since we agree, we can certainly expect (as a matter of course) that all the lolly doled out via the AdScam program will be subject to the same rules …250% fine, daily interest on every nickel since its beginning and if Mr. Martin, Mr. Chretien and the rest of the crew on the Liberal gravy boat do not pay up within 90 days …off to jail with them. Right? Rules are rules …we’re all equals under the law ..right?

Excuse me …did I hear you say “wrong”? No, no ... it can’t be wrong! After all, we live in a ‘democracy’ and our civil ‘servants’ couldn't possibly have different rules than the rest of us do … we never told them they could operate that way. They do?? They did what?? They made rules especially for themselves? How did they do that? We’re a democracy with a constitution and all so it can’t possibly be so! It is? Welcome to feudalism!

Next thing you know we’ll be seeing “conscripted labour” …that’s pretty feudal too! Of course I’m being very cynical …right? What? … I’m wrong again?? We do have conscripted labour? No way! We’re a democracy … common law (Anglo-Saxon) and the Magna Carta apply here! Conscripted labour is a form of slavery … that’s outlawed too! I’m sure you’re mistaken ... there’s no such thing in Canada …we’re an enlightened first-world nation that opposes oppressive regimes all over the globe, you know!

Apparently “G.S.T.” actually means Grab Serf’s Time. It would seem that anyone collecting GST for Ottawa falls under the “Provide Tax Collection Services Or Else” law. Under that 'law' you are required to provide collection, accounting and remittance services with no wage agreement for doing so. Of course, there is the little perk of GST rebates for you in exchange, however that may not be adequate compensation in the final analysis for the time and effort expended. In essence you are being told that you are to work for what is offered and are given no option to refuse if the ‘compensation’ isn’t adequate or acceptable. I wonder what happened to being able to choose who I work for and under what terms and conditions?

All things being equal, it would appear that (by example) you or I are entitled to go into the street and conscript labour (by threat of force if they refuse) and just to make things look good we can offer them a stipend which is not negotiable by them. I wonder how long we’d get away with that before other branches of government we’re hauling us off to the pokey for extortion, uttering threats, violations of labour law and other things … not long, I suspect!

There’s that double standard again ...the one that says “do as we say, not as we do”. The same ethic that says Canadians who can afford to pay for medical procedures can’t … but politicians can do so (at public expense) any time they like. As a matter of fact, if those "in power" set an example then is it not also a precedent that all can quite rightfully follow? Something to think about! As we know, the double-standard examples abound from our so-called “leaders”.

Back when the Serf was being schooled in the ethos of leadership, the bottom line was that you "lead by example”. So perhaps we are faced with correcting a long-standing typographical error! We must forthwith edit all documents past and present, concerning government, and replace all occurrences of the word “leaders” with the correct term “leeches”.

A suggestion for Canada’s new motto:

“ Land of the Fee and Home of the Knave ©”

…after all …that’s the consistent example!

Is AdScam a Temporary Blip?

Or a beginning for a better political structure in Canada?

Aren’t the polls amazing? By rights the Liberal party and government should have remained in a free fall till they went ‘SPLAT’ at the bottom. But that doesn’t seem to be the case as they trail a scant five percent behind the Tories! That’s even more amazing!

Scene of the Crime

If you were a business owner, and your office manager and/or accountant had been skimming the bank account over several years, what would you do? It seems reasonable to assume that most business owners would have that individual or individuals investigated, charged and dealt with forthwith …and would then hire a new manager and/or accountant.

By contrast, it would be totally illogical (dare I say stupid?) to renew the employment contract or contracts of those individuals for yet another term – particularly with no additional checks & balances in place to prevent further fraud. By renewing their employment you would be setting a ‘precedent’ (on the basis of presumption) that the individual or individuals involved have your unspoken ‘permission’ to continue embezzling your business!

Yet the latter of those two scenarios appears to represent the minds of about 31% of Canadians (where AdScam is concerned) according to a recent poll! One must wonder under what possible circumstances a third of Canadians find themselves willing to overlook or turn a blind eye to the obvious dishonesty, criminality, deceit, arrogance and self-indulgence of a group of people who pompously consider (and espouse) themselves to be the “Natural Governing Party of Canada”! Amazing!

Was everyone in the party or government involved? Of course not! However (contrary to some excusist types) “a few rogue individuals” would not be capable of orchestrating, carrying on and concealing their activities so well (over such a long period of time) without help from some very influential players. Period. Between testimony and confessions, the Gomery Inquiry has already established that the crimes DID occur. Furthermore it has established that the cadre responsible were Liberal insiders and intimate supporters.

Therefore we know the general ‘WHO’ is the group who have had the reigns of power and therefore the ability to abuse that trust. The specific ‘WHOs’ are secondary to the big picture because the methodology of the larger body is evident. It therefore follows that what work the Gomery Inquiry has remaining, including Justice Gomery’s final report, will not exonerate either the Liberal Party or Liberal government …it will simply identify specific individuals, timelines and scenarios and then make recommendations.

AdScam makes it obvious that the custodians of the Canadian trust have far too much ability to hide their activities and feel far too unaccountable for their actions. That is a huge problem! It’s particularly a problem because it clearly illustrates that ‘government’ considers itself beyond accountability and/or scrutiny. It regards the citizens of Canada as inferior in status to itself, and essentially says to us that we should just “pay up and shut up” …that what government does “behind closed doors” is none of our business. I beg to differ …it is ENTIRELY our business and entirely within our legitimate rights to know what government is doing in our name and with our resources.

The AdScam fraud and embezzlement scandal has exposed the shambles of Canadian governmental structure relative to its relationship to the country as a whole. It’s been said that “this is not a national crisis, it’s a Liberal crisis”. Once again, I beg to differ! Yes, it’s a Liberal crisis …as they panic over their looming loss of power. Anyone who thinks the Liberals are even remotely concerned about the national implications is naive in the extreme! The scandal is (most importantly) a ‘national crisis’ …because it places a huge spotlight on the urgent need for a complete overhaul of how government is structured, how it operates and who it accounts to in Canada.

Restructuring may seem like a large, if not impossible, task. Yes it is large, but by no means impossible. The most difficult challenge Canadians face is that of taking ‘collective’ action. We’re so divided by regions, along multi-cultural lines, and by fear that’s spread by politicians who have no answers or ideas that acting in unison is problematic. A further problem is that we are also very confused about how this ‘country came to be’ and are rarely students of our own history. For that reason Canadians, in general, think or assume we have a constitution …after all, didn’t Trudeau patriate it? …And isn’t there the Constitution Act?

To be clear …the Constitution Act was simply a piece of paper passed by politicians who voted themselves into ‘governance’ …nothing more. A “constitution” by proper definition is:

A CHARTER OF GOVERNMENT DERIVING
ITS WHOLE AUTHORITY FROM THE GOVERNED
(Black’s Law Dictionary, 6th Edition)

Here is a challenge for you: If you can, find the date in Canada’s history when the people assembled to draft and then democratically ratify a constitution define how government shall be structured and how it shall behave and operate in Canada. (See definition above)

For those of you who are too busy to do that research because you have so much on your plate just trying to supply enough after-tax dollars to keep your family sheltered and fed, the answer is: There NEVER WAS SUCH A DATE IN CANADIAN HISTORY ...EVER. Anything ever passed off as a “constitution” in Canada is a worthless document created by politicians to serve their own interests and secure their own influence …nothing more. That amounts to an ‘edict’ – not a “constitution” – and once again represents the very ‘feudal’ system we mistakenly call a “democracy”.

So now that we know what is wrong, we also know what to fix. Thank you to AdScam, the Gomery Inquiry and very particularly to Auditor General Sheila Fraser, we have now been well educated regarding the levels and mechanisms of deceit, dishonesty, fraud and abuse that occur when government is not wearing a ‘leash’ crafted, drafted, agreed to and enforced by the people.

With all of this in mind, we are now in a position to write a truly great constitution, free of the gullibility and naiveté that existed in the past when politicians were assumed to be honourable people with the nation’s best interests at heart …now we know better!

C'mon now ...what's in a word?

Answer: Way too much at times!

Step into a court room and a 'word' can mean the difference between success or failure. Read the history of the BNA Act and a single word made the difference between economic freedom and carrying a tax burden far exceeding that of a medieval serf! In everyday Canadian life, certain words have created a mindset that is contrary to the essence of a democracy ... at the centre of those words is 'govern' ...and following are all the extensions, variations and metaphors of that word, and most importantly the subliminal effect of it! Another word to pay attention to is "democracy" ...we talk about it, and we even go through some motions ...but we don't live it!

Lets begin by defining what we are supposed to be -- a "democracy".

Definition: Democracy is literally "rule by the people" and "the democratic method" is the institutional arrangement for arriving at political decisions that realizes the common good by making the people itself decide issues through the election of individuals who are to assemble in order to carry out its will." Period, full stop.

So clearly, by long-standing, accepted definition, a 'democracy' is a society where the people (collectively) are the rulers of their own land and therefore the will of the people is what 'governs' that land. As such, that arrangement is not complicated or vague, and it makes complete, logical sense. Generally, it's what the average person honestly believes to be the case!

How do we exercise and voice our collective will -- our collective governance of our own country? We do it by electing people to represent our collective will every so often through the elective process. The elective process amounts (simply) to a 'job interview' that lasts several weeks. Those seeking the job come before us and tell us why they are the best choice for the vacant job and why we should employ them on a short term contract (the period between elections). At the ballot box we convene to make a collective decision as to who that contract employee will be. Democracy at work!

So far this makes a lot of sense, is logical and is a rational way to manage the affairs of a large geographic area inhabited by a large number of people ...except for one problem. What problem? The problem we have is that those who begged for jobs at the podium are under absolutely no obligation to pay any attention at all to what their 'employers' want! The proof of this lays in Alberta Court of Queen's Bench Justice, E.A. Marshall's decision concerning docket number 9012000725 on the 10th of December 1990. Citizens brought suit against their MP for his failure to represent their wishes. In Justice Marshall’s decision he said:

“ I know of no legal duty on an elected representative at any level of government to consult with his constituents or determine their views. While such an obligation may generally be considered desirable, there is no legal requirement.”

This applies to all of us, no matter what province we reside in! Did we, the people, give permission to have our wishes ignored by the politicians we hire? NO. Did the politicians give themselves that prerogative? YES. Does this sound like democracy? NO. And this brings us to the use of the word "govern" and all the other words that go along with it!

To think of ourselves as "governed" implies acceptance of subservience on our part, and suggests 'superiority' on the part of those elected to "govern". The mindset is the complete opposite of what the real 'power structure' is in an actual 'democracy'. In a democracy we hire (elect) individuals to 'manage' certain of our affairs on our behalf ...period. In effect such elected people are merely the custodians of our will ...not our masters, betters or superiors ...that would be too feudal. The biggest problem (with this ingrained perception) lays with those elected individuals who have abused the moral trust their offices properly and rightfully include.

We in Canada, although touting ourselves as an enlightened democracy, have bought into paying homage to a foreign monarch, giving free (and free-spending) reign to that monarch’s representative in Canada (The Governor General – note the authority implied with both “governor” and “general”) and this has trickled down to a pompous elected ‘elite’ who deem themselves our masters!

In a democracy the elected do the bidding of the electors to manage necessary infrastructure essential to the country. This is not the reality in Canada as politicians over generations take a host of liberties, experiment with their own flavour of ‘social engineering’ and lately treat ill-gotten tax dollars as if that money is their personal pocket change! These examples are tips of icebergs but represent the backward and destructive power structure in Canada that disguises itself as a democracy and smooth talks the population into believing so. The reality is that every few years we do nothing less than ‘elect’ feudal dictators and give up our natural right to a voice in our own affairs!

Some questions to ask yourself and each other …and think about next time you are inclined to just accept things as they are:

Who owns Canada ..the people or the politicians?
Who asked politicians to re-subject Canadians to British rule?
Who gave politicians permission to vote themselves gold-plated pensions and perks?
What right do politicians have to tell you that you’re not free to purchase medical attention with your own money?
Who told politicians to write a Charter of Rights on our behalf?
Who told politicians it was OK to tax people to ridiculous levels?
Who told politicians it was OK to turn issuance of money in Canada over to private banking concerns?
Who told politicians it was OK to indebt generations of Canadians in order to fund political promises and social engineering experiments?
Who told politicians to go easy on criminals and pay more attention to criminal rights than victim rights?
Who told politicians to make a sex offender registry with no retroactive teeth? (Oh yes, that was Chretien …probably because his step son would have been on the list?)
Who told politicians to do most of what they have assumed they can do because they assume themselves our masters?

The Answer: It wasn’t us!

As the Midnight, May 2nd Filing Deadline Looms,
“Tax Freedom Day" is still two months away!

Definition: Income Tax Filing Deadline • The date when Canadians are – under threat of odious consequence – expected to provide a level of accountability and transparency to those who do not and will not do the same ...despite that they work for us.

The filing deadline is close at hand, so it seems very fitting to put this annual ritual into its proper perspective.

Six hundred years ago in medieval Europe, most people lived and died as slaves (sometimes called serfs) bound to the land they worked and bound to the feudal lords who ruled them.

The serfs had no rights. Their masters could seize anything they owned and even put them in prison if they didn't pay whatever was demanded.

How much did these oppressed Medieval serfs actually pay in taxes? The answer is about 25 percent of what they earned. Historians believe that the typical serf had to "pay" 25 percent of his produce, usually from agricultural efforts, to his feudal lord. What remained was his bounty.

Today the average Canadian considers himself free and living in a democratic nation, yet we pay far more in taxes than Medieval serfs and are bound by endlessly more restrictions.

Over the course of our lifetimes at least 50 percent of our income and wealth will go to pay federal taxes, provincial taxes, social program taxes, property taxes, GST & PST – the list just goes on and on and continues until a person dies and often has to pay death taxes.

In the big picture, ill-considered and wholly unlawful tax 'laws' enslave us as completely as Medieval serfs. For at least six months a year we are tax slaves …little more than modern feudal serfs in a land posing as a democracy of free people.

For those Modern Canadian Serfs who hunger to know exactly when they’ll personally be released from their tax shackles this year, visit THE FRASER INSTITUTE where the institute has kindly placed a calculator that will determine personal ‘Tax Free Day" according to region and circumstances.

As you hurry to enclose your carefully filled-out forms (and perhaps a cheque also) to meet the Master's deadline, there are two more things you may like to be thinking about as you do so.

In June 2004, Statistics Canada reported that Ottawa and the provinces racked up a collective $25.7 billion over-taxation surplus in 2003 …where did it go?
You wouldn’t be doing this at all had Sir John A McDonald and 20 other lawyers not quickly (without consent) removed one small but significant word when the BNA Act was written ...good ol' lawyers ...but that is a story for antother day.

The Canada Health Act ...just that, an "Act"

Healthy Citizens …or Healthy Control?

Today’s headline boldly stated “Dosanjh ready to get tough with private MRI clinics.” The copy went on to explain that Mr. Dosanjh, Canada’s Health Minister, hopes to avoid a “messy showdown” and having to “impose financial penalties” on four provinces for "violating the Canada Health Act" by allowing 33 clinics to provide private MRI and CT scans to patients in need.

PARADOX: To NOT "violate the Canada Health Act", provinces MUST violate our right to spend our 'after-tax dollars' on what ever legal product or service we choose to ...whether it's a bottle of vitamins, a CT/MRI scan or a new hip! One must truly wonder WHAT possibly makes Ottawa think it has the right to DICTATE to this extent!

Dosanjh said he wants the provinces to “tow the line.” Why? Well, according to Dosanjh, its just not right that those who can afford the after-tax dollars should “jump the queue” and address their own health concerns! After all, that’s a privilege reserved for the insider elite in Ottawa …right?

Let’s look at this in terms of the fundamentals instead of what we Canadians are so good at which is to let ourselves be drawn off the central issue and embroiled in microcosms and tangential squabbles that wouldn’t exist in the first place if the central problem were properly addressed!

First off, Ottawa -- in the political sense. What is Ottawa? We certainly know that Ottawa is a hotbed of control, power broking, influence mongering, double standards, hot air and self-serving political activities. Period. Secondarily, Ottawa is Canada’s central supply source of inflated, redundant, unnecessary and mismanaged bureaucracies …health department among the many!

Now that we have that in perspective, we are able to understand the primary motivations behind anything (everything?) Ottawa does …regardless of flowery political hyperbole (spin) that is shoveled into the media by the self-serving players involved. So the most important question is that stated above …is all this about “Healthy Citizens …or Healthy Control?” Those of us with room-temperature or better IQ will easily realize it is the latter.

Next, lets look at the author of the imperious pronouncements so direly reported in the news …Mr. Ujjal Dosnajh. Who is he? Ujjal is a lawyer (important note) who is now trying to do doctor thinking and doctor talk …seems pathetic, doesn’t it? Ujjal is also a former NDP Premier who was impaled by the public along with most of his political pals for putting British Columbia’s economy into the tank progressively over about ten years …so he’s a successful manager and statesman? Ujjal was also the source of a lot of sniggering when it was discovered that he, the illustrious Attorney General of British Columbia, had rented a home to a drug running operation!

Most recently Ujjal was a 'mandated candidate', hand-picked for a riding by Paul Martin to supplant the "people's choice" in the last federal election! (How democratic!) But of course all this has made Ujjal feel really important …so he can play tough guy on behalf of the most corrupt and self-involved political party this country has ever seen! Such stellar credentials …let’s all now bow down and supplicate before Ujjal and his pronouncements!

So, where are we at so far? We have a corrupt, self-serving, desperate-for-votes government that imposes a failed socialist ex Premier on constituents in a panic election, then puts all his legal ‘education’ to work playing ‘medical genius’. Sure makes a lot of sense …doesn’t it?

Sure makes a lot of economic sense too. What better way to take the strain off a floundering, inefficient, under-funded (despite so many taxes to fund it) public ‘health care’ system, than to prevent private citizens from spending their own money to address their own medical dilemmas!

A shining example of Liberal self-proclaimed benevolence and compassion to mandate that people stand in line and suffer …rather than illuminate the inefficiency of the public system by having the temerity to spend their after-tax dollars to help themselves. Is this starting to smell more like ‘control freak’ than ‘public service’? Me thinks something is rotten in Ottawa!

Realistically, the existence of private health care delivery is a threat to Ottawa’s credibility and all its tax and fee justifications that are attributed to “health care” …because it showcases Ottawa’s inefficiency, flawed management practices and skewed ideology. Furthermore, for private citizens to spend their own money in such a fashion flies in the face of traditional Liberal doctrine …to celebrate mediocrity and penalize success.

In the traditional Liberal view, nobody should be better off than the next guy! The graduated tax system and wealth redistribution being classic examples of that very socialistic (dare I say communistic?) ideology. So essentially, whether it’s ‘wealth redistribution’ or ‘health redistribution’, the overall philosophy is the same …unless, of course, you’re a member of the inner circle where those rules don’t apply, after all, they’re the special ones!

With such antics at so many levels in government, one must wonder where politicians expect to get their credibility from! Oh yes, I forgot, they give it to themselves and each other with fancy sounding titles …like “Honourable.”

Once upon a time, when a certain NDP Premier was going down in flames over scandals and mismanagement, a certain Friendly Neighbourhood Feudal Serf (who shall go nameless) explained to that failing NDP soon-to-be ‘EX’ Premier that “being regarded and treated as 'Honourable' is something to be earned, not just expected or conferred.”

The sad truth is that politicians rarely do the honourable thing because it is right to do so …they do it because they’re humiliated into it. Says a lot about the notion of “public service”, now doesn’t it?

Oui the People

Love ‘em or not, Quebec has it right … and wrong!

La Belle Province is a clever place …over time they have asserted their rightful sovereignty, and have done so on everyone else’s dime …given the apparently disproportionate levels of federal transfer payments, not to mention other Ottawa given goodies!

In 1976, a newly elected René Levesque and his Parti Quebecois were apprised by an enlightened, long-serving Alberta MP that Quebec was in no way legally bound to Canada. This meant that there need not be any "constitutional wranglings" …especially since Canada has no actual constitution.

Nor was there any need or requirement for Quebec to petition Ottawa, ask its permission to ‘separate or jump through any other such hoops. Quebec, like all other Provinces, had her sovereignty already …signed, guaranteed and on paper ever since 1931! Mr. Levesque chose not to act on that information, and the profitability of the ‘threat of Quebec separation’ has ever since been a financial trump card!

If one really listens to what Quebec separatists are demanding, it comes down to one basic thing …they want the sovereignty and autonomy they (as all provinces) are fully entitled to. Quebec is, however, the only province that has staunchly resisted the virus called “Ottawa” that seeks to infect and control everything …Quebec has always had that part right.

However, as demonstrated by the fact that Quebec has not ‘separated’ (when they have had no real barriers against doing so), and in the face of the enormous financial benefits they have enjoyed by waving the ‘separation stick’ around over the years …Quebec also got it wrong ...in terms of their methods for achieving their goals.

Essentially Quebec’s ‘enemy’ is the power hungry, controlling de facto central ‘government’ in Ottawa …not the rest of Canada’s citizens who have been screwed by Ottawa for the dollars necessary to play the game with Quebec. So while Quebec’s stand to maintain their legitimate sovereign rights is very admirable, their methods (that have financially victimized others) are not. Therefore Quebec has lost the empathy and/or support of Canadians who, when the numbers of dollars became known, became outraged and focused a lot of their anger toward Quebecers on account of it, instead of directing it more appropriately at Ottawa. Quebec has alienated themselves as a result.

Now we have AdScam and the Gomrey Inquiry to think about, all on account of the Ottawa - Quebec chess game! In the long run, some great good may come of it outside of convicting and jailing those responsible (business types and political types included) ensuring severe sentences are imposed on all of them – that no one is immune or excused from prosecution and penalty is vitally important nationally and internationally.

Nationally, Canadians need to see a couple of very important things from all of this and the sooner the better. First, we need to see how absolutely backward the administration of Canada has become in that the true ‘owners’ of the land (the citizenry en masse) have become the ‘subjects’ of self-proclaimed masters who feel they have absolute right to dictate, take from us anything they want and to conduct themselves outside of laws and ethics anyone else is required to live by!

Secondly, Canadians need to see that these self-proclaimed monarchs, with their vassals and minions, are not beyond the reach of consequences for their insidious and criminal acts. For far too long Canadians have given in to the notion that “there is nothing they can do so why try”. It’s the old “you can’t fight city hall” adage in action. Canadians need to know there IS something they can do …the first of which is to insist, and continue to insist that none of the involved characters is beyond consequences.

Internationally, Canada is fast becoming known as a weak, fence-sitting country that is fast to dispense high-minded advice and opinion, but which is almost incapable of defending its own borders, enforcing its own sovereignty, or controlling the mouths of arrogant politicians and civil servants who embarrass us all with their verbal sewage.

For all that high-minded dribble our politicians have eschewed on the international stage, we now have this AdScam mess flapping in the breeze for all the world to see! Imagine how pathetic we will look if those responsible (who ever they are and even if they once were a Prime Minister) are not prosecuted and punished in the same fashion as private individuals would have been if caught perpetrating a similarly enormous fraud!

Some questions to ponder seriously in these dark times:

Isn’t it high time we showed ourselves (and the rest of the world) what Canadians are REALLY made of?
Isn’t it time we reclaimed the respect, reputation and honour we once held and deserved internationally?
Isn’t it high time we rebuilt this country as it should have been in the first place?

This particular Feudal Serf says emphatically “YES”!

Democracy and Freedom in Canada?

The idea of democracy is that free men and women enjoy freedom to chose, speak travel and think …at least that’s the theory!

How easily the words “freedom” and “democracy” roll off the tongues of Canadians, particularly when we are talking about here versus some third world nation. Comparatively we are certainly better off, but how free are we really? Let’s think about that…

We’re free to own land …well at least the top few inches …anything further down that may be valuable the government claims ownership of …and which the government offers as chattel on huge federal debts owed to international banks!

Land 'Ownership' Sidebar: The issue of land "ownership" is a poignant example of feudalistic structure. The paperwork and jargon use the term "owner" ...but the reality does not support the use of that term. If you own something it is yours to do with as you will ...period. Not so with land.

First off your municipal government will dictate what you can build on 'your land' and then will tax you to the extent you improve 'your land' or the structure(s) you decide to build (or improve) on 'your land' to the extent they determine. Secondly, because you only 'own' the topsoil, not what lays beneath it, your security of 'ownership' and even residence is at risk because the federal 'government' claims ownership of the earth and it's contents below the topsoil you 'own'. That means they claim for themselves absolute right to the mineral value below you among other things.

What happens if the feds decide they want to exploit the deeper use of "their land" --for whatever purpose? Clearly your home, landscaping, garden, pool and prize roses would be in the way and a nuisance relative to their needs and plans. For them to look good (and perhaps perpetuate the notion that you 'own' the land) a financial offer will be made ...usually below fair market value, as many have found out.

If the 'land owner' (theoretically you) chooses to stand up for their rights and demand fair compensation, 'negotiations' can break down ...which is when the word "expropriation" comes up. Let's be honest, "expropriation" is really just another word for "eviction" by an annoyed 'master' for not cooperating with his wishes. In feudal times the peasants were allowed to use land as well ...for as long as they did what they were commanded, and paid the master his taxes. Some things never change. So do you still feel free? ...do you still feel like a 'land owner'? ...you'd be mistaken if you do!

We’re free to travel …provided we have paid the fees for drivers’ licenses and vehicle permits, paid the taxes for fuel ond accommodation …paid for a passport to verify citizenship …paid airport improvement and airport security fees …paid for a fishing or hunting license if we want to live off the land, paid the fee for a camping spot and so on!

We’re free to accumulate wealth …so long as we pay the government at least 50% of gross earnings along the way, pay more tax on the earnings on after tax savings, pay tax on the sale of assets we have bought with after tax dollars, pay tax on purchases made with after tax dollars, pay accountants to navigate the ridiculous complexities of the tax system, pay banks to store our ‘wealth’ …and even pay tax on our remaining income when we die!

We’re free to protect ourselves from aggression or oppression …so long as we don’t do it ourselves …provided we don’t harm anyone, even those who would harm us …provided we can hire a lawyer to navigate an overly complex court system that appears to care more about courtroom choreography than about facts and truth …provided we accept that our protection is on the other end of a 911 call to agencies that are ridiculously under funded and under staffed!

We’re free to enjoy good health and medical care …unless we try to pay for it ourselves with our after tax dollars …provided we pay premiums for access to a health care system, the funding of which is the stated reason for so much of the initial tax burden we carry …provided we are willing to wait (often in pain and deteriorating further) in line in a horribly mismanaged public health care system. …provided we can afford to buy (with after tax dollars) additional services and coverage) the public system won’t cover …and provided we can even find a doctor who is taking on new patients or a hospital that has an available bed!

We’re free to elect politicians to represent our collective will …NOT. We “elect” people every few years who stand at a podium and apply for the job with great speeches …and once we’ve hired them what we get for our money and faith in democracy is a salesman for the party who tells US what THEY think we need, should have, can do and can keep!

Believe it or not, an ‘elected’ individual is under NO legal obligation to listen to a single thing you or I say! But you need not believe me …instead you can believe Justice, E.A. Sure we have “freedom” …so long as we do what we’re told, pay the price, submit the required fees …so we’re “free” as long as we can afford freedom!

In reality we are feudalized serfs who pay for what freedoms we enjoy, which are at the discretion of those we employ in government, and we somehow convince ourselves we live in a free, democratic society!

In closing I shall present you with some proof that you are, in Canada, actually ‘owned’ almost from the moment of your birth ...not as free as you might think!

When your parents completed the form for the Certification of Live Birth shortly after you were born, they entered 'given names' and 'family' name. The family name was/is not part of your given name; but is only a reference name.

The Crown in right of your birth Province then fraudulently created a legal fiction/legal identity name by including your family name as being part of the name on the birth certificate. This name is then 'assumed' to be associated with your physical body. A 'certificate' is a money value instrument.

The 'legal identity', which the Crown names a 'person', is given a credit value and used as chattel as a hypothecation for government loans from the international bankers. The chattel value is based upon potential labour to be confiscated at a later date by the Crown in the form of taxes, primarily income tax, and now GST.

Thus, by this devious method, you have had a contract of servitude imposed upon you in violation of basic contract law and in violation of the Statute of Frauds (Br. A.D. 1677). This imposed contract then "OUTLAWED" you in violation of Section 39 of the Magna Carta (A.D.1215 - Revised A.D. 1225); and thus, unlawfully removed your Sovereign Status.

Oh, and for any of you who say this can't be true because this is 2005 and the laws quoted we're from the 12th and 16th centuries ...that's only because you've bought in to some serious disinformation!

Masters and Serfs – The Big Stick!

Word is out that the Government of Canada plans
to embark on an
“Assault on the Underground Economy”.

An interesting conversation took place on open line radio today. Being interviewed was a lawyer who specializes in negotiating with the CCRA. The lawyer made it quite clear how the government deals with someone in tax arrears, and it certainly appears that the penalties for keeping your own money are far more severe than that meted out for making a bomb that blows over three hundred people out of the sky. To quote:

If you do not declare taxable income for more than one year, you have committed tax evasion. When you are caught, monetary penalties will be up to 250% of the tax payable and daily interest. In addition to the penalties, you will also have to pay the tax owing plus daily interest. If charged and convicted and you can’t pay the huge fine, prison is the alternative. Worse still a criminal record can put an end to your business and other travel outside of Canada.

Clearly the government takes what it deems to be an offense against itself far more seriously than offenses committed against regular people …people who have been robbed, assaulted, defrauded or murdered! Too bad government couldn’t take the little issues that concern so many of us, such as a retroactive sex offender registry, terrorism and drug trafficking as seriously as it takes its own selfish interests!

Interesting timing also that this would come out during a time when the government is under scrutiny for massive fraud and corruption! But its equally interesting that if a private company were to try to assess delinquent accounts at the same rates, the government would be prosecuting them for loan sharking! As a matter of fact, if that same private company were to try to raise or collect money in the same manner government does they would be breaching the Criminal Code on several levels!

This particular Serf has often wondered how it came to be that governments feel entitled to a bigger percentage of a worker’s income than the worker is! Just doing some rudimentary math illustrates the point. Take a worker in the lowest bracket (27%) add GST at 5% (since a FEW items are exempt), add another rough 5% for UIC & CPP, now were at 37% …then factor in all the hidden taxes such as that on gas, factor in the tax paid on tax, factor in even more tax if you smoke or drink, etc. etc. …which means a minimum wage earner is parting with a good 50%! Earn more and get yourself in a high bracket and the liability goes up …way up! Once you have choked on that … factor in the provincial and municipal tax burdens and various fees!!!

For what do we pay? A universal medical system that is hardly universal and very dysfunctional because the government doesn’t have enough money to fund it properly. How about maintaining law and order and protecting us from society’s predators and vultures? No again …seems the government doesn’t have the money to properly fund that either. OK, how about enforcing and protecting national sovereignty? Wrong again … under funded & under-manned due to budget constraints! All right, the Canada Pension Plan! Wrong once more …in fact that plan has been referred to by financial experts as a “Ponzi Scheme” …which is classified as fraud under the criminal code!

Is there anything we are being forced to fund that is actually being properly funded? Let’s see now …Lifetime Pensions for Parliamentarians …yup, and fully indexed to inflation! Employee Benefits for Government workers …you bet and better than the private sector can afford! An armed forces administrative bureaucracy in Ottawa that out-numbers our standing army! A $500,000 income tax break for George Radwanski, a Chretien pal. (Clearly the rules cited above do not apply when you have the right pals) $1,000,000 to a Liberal Senator’s company to rent the unoccupied half of a building and another chunk of money to renovate the rented space they’re not using! The Sponsorship Program!! The Gun Registry!!! Shall I go on??

And for all this “good service", that is of such ‘benefit’, the Feudal Masters DEMAND the average man or woman in Canada provide a level of accountability far exceeding accountability offered in return …of course when you have the big stick, you can do that!

Who works for whom in Canada? Ahh yes, those with no stick work for those who have the big sticks! And if you had a stick the Masters would establish a new bureaucracy called the “Stick Registry” just to make sure they know who has the sticks they might need to watch out for. And you’d be forced to pay more tax to pay for the Stick Registry!

In 1950, the Supreme Court of Canada heard an interesting case …It was called the Lord Nelson Hotel Case. The case was between the Attorney Generals of Nova Scotia and of Canada. At issue was whether the federal government could legally or lawfully tax income directly – which was a right exclusively given to the Provinces in the BNA Act – The court unanimously decided that the feds could NOT have that power legally, nor could the province legally or lawfully transfer that power to the feds! In other words, the feds were collecting income taxes unlawfully! Now, if an average man or woman were told they were not allowed (by law) to do a certain thing, and continued to do it anyway, that man or woman would be in contempt of court …and punished accordingly!

Apparently those rules don’t apply to the self-appointed (elected) masters! Since about 1963 the "Federal Government of Canada" has been operating IN CONTEMPT of THE SUPREME COURT of CANADA which, in the Lord Nelson Hotel case, ORDERED the "federal government" to remove itself from the business of unlawfully collecting income taxes!

That alone is interesting especially when you take into account that the BNA Act was effectively nullified in 1931 when the Statute of Westminster was signed and Canada was released from any and all British influence, including British Laws and/or Acts (i.e. BNA)! Since then Canada has not created a duly framed and ratified constitution. However, Ottawa trots out the BNA Act when convenient …but ignores it when its not convenient …i.e. the Lord Nelson Hotel case!

Anglo Saxon Common Law and the Magna Carta were supposed to protect us from the abuses and excesses of government …but for that to work, governments must acknowledge the existence and responsibility of both …which is not the case in Canada …the Feudal System works much better for their purposes, and here we are, fellow Serfs ...just serfs!

What if Jack were a policeman? And what if Jack the policeman suddenly began colluding with the neighbourhood crime family provided they were to turn over some cash to Jack the policeman’s favourite cause?

Answer: Jack the policeman would find himself under criminal investigation for it …Jack would be immediately suspended …and Jack would find that aiding and abetting, even for what he thinks is a good cause, makes him as bad as the bad guys! To Jack it seems OK to support a blatantly corrupt organization as long as he is getting a piece of the action!

To think that the NDP bill themselves as Canada’s ‘moral guardians’, our ‘ethical supervisors’ and the country’s ‘voice of social conscience’! Jack’s willingness to support an utterly corrupt government in exchange for some grand NDP ideal is absolutely no different than Liberals excusing fraud, extortion, misappropriation of funds, theft and other criminal activities because of some grand plan they had!

Once again we see the same old double standard coming out of Ottawa …what is an offense if an 'ordinary person' perpetrates it is justifiable if government does so because they’re government! How feudal is that? The Lords and Masters write what ever rules suits them best, but the peasants below must comply, conform and adhere …or else.

How does this keep happening? How can they continue getting away with it? Well, its easy to blame Easterners for continually putting such people in office, but the real reason is that we have no effective control over government at a far more fundamental level. There are no firm rules that governments feel obliged to live by, and that is particularly true when any semblance of a rule happens to interfere with political objectives.

Why don’t we have proper rules?

Answer: Because we have been denied the opportunity to exercise our rights as free people to democratically draft and approve an actual constitution, which is a set of rules that governs governments.

How did that happen?

Answer: Because after the Statute of Westminster was signed in 1931, which set us completely free of ANY sort of British rule or governance, successive governments have FAILED to provide the means for us to do so. Anything you have read or heard about a “Canadian Constitution” is a snow job that relies heavily on the average Canadians’ ignorance of our own history. The power brokers at the top have not wanted to trust their futures to the will and wisdom of the people! We have been denied the opportunity to decide our own circumstances and destiny because those who deem themselves our betters and masters do not want to give up any of the power to use and abuse that they currently enjoy.

“Feudalism” is the theme of this blog …issues such as this one particularly underscore that true “democracy” is not ours. Since the moment of our defacto freedom (1931) from domination as colonies of the British, we have been TOLD (not asked) what we can have, how we can have it and so on by people who cling to the assumption of power and governance, but in fact have no constitutional authority (or framework) to do so.

There are many confusing stories presented over the years and the Pierre Trudeau repatriation one is a whopper.

Fact: As of 1931 nobody but us, you and I, the collective body have had the right to decide what our form over governance shall be …by virtue of drafting and ratifying a democratically accepted constitution. The feudal lords have denied us that, and we have become defacto serfs and peasants.

The only Province that has come remotely close to operating as it should, politically, is British Columbia. The Campbell government encouraged the formation of a Citizen Assembly to decide how elections should be conducted in BC. Good for Campbell!

This is EXACTLY the process that should have been set in motion right away in 1931. Citizen Assemblies from each province meeting to draft a Constitution …then putting it to the test in a referendum. That way we, not those who would like to dominate and control us, have established the rules and have become the masters of our own land and our own national destiny.

Once we have done so, if we are ever “allowed” to to so … guys like Jack won’t have the opportunity to barter collusion for favours.

Shipping Magnate turns 'Bullet Magnet'

The Dithering Duke Paul Martin pleads for his political life on national radio and television in a time-buying effort …begging for a reprieve, one more chance and for credibility because he says they deserve it. HUH???

The words were barely out of his mouth and on the airwaves when opposition leaders of all stripes took snipers’ aim and began focusing their sights …sizing up the target and assessing the best moment to pull the trigger of what will be the ‘kill shot’ for a scandal ridden, tired, arrogant and self-serving Liberal Party of Canada.

Central to Duke Paul’s pleas was an appeal to wait for due process, wait to see what was proven and therefore wait for Judge Gomrey’s decision before passing judgment and taking action against him and his government. No doubt that resonated with a lot of people because Canadians, generally, like to be a fair and even-handed lot.

This particular serf thought “what a lovely double standard (among many others) for the PM to be espousing” when his own hind-quarters are at risk! I further thought about how any politician who loses his job over this in the next election will at least have a pay cheque for the rest of his or her life on the parliamentary pension plan. Nice buffer for malfeasance! The double standard that occurred to me most readily concerns the treatment of serf-level Canadians at the hands of the CCRA. You see, the CCRA can seize income, bank accounts and property based on nothing more than their own suspicions and/or estimates …no proof required, just a rubber-stamped internal document needed for them to take direct action. (Guilty til proven innocent?)

People’s lives have been ruined on account of it, and there is nothing even remotely resembling “due process” involved before, during and after. Even on those occasions where CCRA is proved wrong, the damage (often permanent) has already been done, and the victims have no instant, livable, life-long pension available to them to cushion the blow!

So as the Dithering Duke pleads for compassion, forbearance, patience and the time to allow for ‘due process’, he begs for that which the government does not give in return. (Unless, of course, you’re a pal of the PM with a half-million dollar tax problem!) That is certainly as much a double standard as it is when privileged politicians and bureaucrats avail themselves of private medical attention while forcing (even intimidating) the serf-class to stand in line (painfully) in a failing, mismanaged public health care system!

Using the CCRA model of operation …since that is the example government sets through its own daily actions year after year (a precedent) …is it not then entirely reasonable to boot them out of office now on the basis of what we have already seen and heard in ‘evidence’? Certainly we, the people (serfs), could be making an electoral decision based on far more credible fact than the CCRA usually works with …so the government still gets cut a break …damn it!

Where there is smoke there is fire, it is said. The smoke coming from the Gomrey Inquiry just so far probably qualifies for Kyoto credits and should be sufficient for anyone to understand that the corruption and criminality extended into the highest of offices. All Gomrey will be doing from here on in is filling in the details of who, how and when …NOT determining the ‘if”.

Looking at this whole mess leaves one to wonder if the Liberals have (over time) intentionally watered-down the justice system and encouraged ‘jail as a last resort’ just in case they and their cronies were ever caught …as they now have!

No doubt a lot more will come out of the AdScam inquiries …and its reasonable to assume it will get thicker, stinkier and more outrageous along the way. It would be pure fantasy to speculate that as the inquiry continues, concludes and sums up, that the Liberal party and the governments it has formed will be vindicated, exonerated or excused.

Therefore, why wait? Lets get an election over with and put in place a government with a clean track record (outside of the “national disaster” bleating of Liberal fear-mongering) sooner rather than later. Doing so should also provide a bonus that no one involved with this scandal, right from Lord Chretien down, will be exempt from criminal prosecution just because they still have allies who can pull the right strings …particularly with seven former lawyers who will no doubt be the poster boys for the next level of scandal to be exposed from the sordid “Chretien years”.

Crisis? …What Crisis?

Harvard Scholar says scandal is propelling Canada
toward a new “Constitutional Crisis”

Look up, fellow serfs …look way up at the hallowed halls of academia …that’s a place where people smarter than us hang out and think up things that are apparently good for us!

Have you ever heard of a smart guy (scholar) named Michael Ignatieff? If you do, you’d be wise to fear …fear greatly for Canada and yourselves! Why? Because he is being described by some as “the next Pierre Trudeau”. Now for those of you who are too young, or who have been had your memories affected due to tax burnout, scandal outrage or just good old stress, lets review some history.

Pope Pierre is revered by the Liberal cult as a deity and prophet. He is remembered as the one who climbed Mount Blue, draped in red robes of course, and while atop the mountain conferred with himself and scribed a Charter of Rights for the people. Afterward he descended the mountain, parted the waters of the Rideau Canal and placed his commandments smugly before the people.

And ever since the people have paid dearly for Pope Pierre’s commiseration with himself and for the charter he hung around their necks. A charter that enshrines the rights of the guilty over victims but in doing so at least provides the lawyers of the land with great financial opportunity. Pope Pierre also took it upon himself to ‘patriate’ a Canadian constitution that never existed, with the cooperation of a monarch who did not legitimately reign over Canada.

Pope Pierre made plain his disdain for us -- the unwashed Serfs -- who are (according to him) unable to decide things for ourselves …and therefore decided it was up to him and his chosen ones to make decisions for us. Perhaps this is the origin of his PET name ‘Pappa Pierre’. His was not an entirely new attitude amongst Canadian Politicians however. Since 1931 politicians have decided amongst themselves that the people (us) should not play a part in deciding our own circumstances and future …an attitude that has lead us to the national problems of a ‘constitutional nature’ we have wrestled with ever since.

Pierre Trudeau's repatriated Constitution Act of 1982 is a void contract for want of Quebec's signature and for want of ratification by the People of Canada. The Constitution is law from the people unto the government; not a body of laws from government unto the People. The 1950 Supreme Court decision [1950] also said that the Constitution belongs to the People, not to the Provinces or to the Federal Government. In his arrogance, Trudeau forgot that minor detail.

Pope Pierre, however, carried the attitude to new levels of insufferable arrogance. This alone makes the arrogance of Liberal politicians more understandable since they so revere Pope Pierre, the Spiritual Leader of the Liberal Cult! It also explains why the Liberal Cult is so convinced that they own the right to ‘govern’ and all the public funds in the treasury.

Among Pappa Pierre’s other notable 'accomplishments' were his membership in the communist party and the distinction of being he whose death prompted Fidel Castro to step outside Cuba for the first time in decades wearing a suit instead of battle fatigues. (Tell me who your friends are and I’ll tell you who you are!) But most notably Pope Pierre’s feelings about the thoughts of the people were exhibited most poignantly on the day he answered the concerns of Canadians with a middle finger turned upward as an answer to them. How pompous and arrogant!

One of Pope Trudeau’s closest boot-lickers was none other than the reviled Lord Jean Chretien, who wanted to name a mountain after his idol. That alone speaks for itself …especially since naming a crater after him would have been more accurate! Then again, Lord Jean and his vassals have a problem with accuracy!

Do we need another Pierre Trudeau? Or do we need someone who realizes that it is HE who is the servant of the people …not the other way around. Sorry Michael …your Trudeau-like persona is not good for the future of this country despite your Harvard digs and ejumucation! Furthermore a smart guy like you should have figured out that to have a "constitutional crisis" would require the existence of a 'constitution' ...which there isn't.

It stands to reason that the best person to entrust the best interests of average people to is someone who knows what its like to be average …from being there, not just studying it in Theoretical Social Engineering 101 at school.

Rather than Gagliano – Sew his lips shut!

who spews self-serving hypothesis?

Alfonso Gagliano …a wanna be elder statesman … recently eschewed his dire warnings for the future of Canada in the Ottawa Citizen. ‘The BQ will sweep Quebec!’ …’PQ will sink Charest!’ …’Goodbye Canada’ …’Quebec will call a referendum and it will be all over for us!!’

It would seem the Noble Nimrod Gagliano is saying, between the lines’ that this is all going to happen because he and Lord Jean (la Weasel) Chretien were caught red handed, and because the Dithering Duke Paul Martin called for an inquiry that has exposed the depth and breadth of Liberal infamy. He further appears to imply that ‘if only he and his ilk had been left alone to continue their fraudulent schemes that all would have been OK’ …so shame on us for our anger and outrage over their little AdScam program …after all, it was only a couple hundred million of someone else’s dollars! Isn’t that a small price to pay to keep Quebec?

A hundred million dollars (or more) which the excusists and apologist spin meisters refer to as “a drop in the bucket” relative to overall federal spending! Proportionally that may be factual. However, perhaps we should personalize those millions a little and realize that those dollars were TAKEN largely from those who could little afford to part with money just for the sake of bribing Quebec! Who were those people? For example they were and are;

Children who went without adequate nutrition because the family’s after-tax budget was so sparse.
Seniors who still get taxed and who live on pensions for life-long work that are pocket change compared to the pensions politicians have generously awarded themselves with tax dollars.
People who were struggling to keep a mortgage paid once they’d been taxed and over deducted.
People who had to forego medical and dental work because their after-tax dollars wouldn’t stretch far enough.
People who damaged their health with the stress involved with keeping households and families afloat after being taxed to death.
Homeless people who could have been helped with those diverted tax dollars.
Military personnel who could have had better equipment.
Under-staffed RCMP detachments struggling to stay on top of growing crime because the government-directed judiciary won’t take them off the streets.
etc. etc. etc.… victims of CRIME as surely someone mugged by a repeat offender!

It’s doubtful any of those people would consider a hundred million dollars plus “a drop in the bucket!!” …and let us not forget that the money is question is just what we know about and could be just the tip of an iceberg! And of course, we won’t even consider the additional usual waste such as a thoroughly bloated bureaucracy and pet projects such as gun registries!

Now, about that frightening specter of Quebec separation, and the vote-bullying it has provided for governments over time …it’s the biggest, most long-standing hoax perpetrated in this ‘country’s’ history! How is that possible? Two simple facts explain it.

Since 1931 (Statute of Westminster), when the 1867 “confederation was dissolved & nullified, the Provinces of Canada have never formed a lawful union of any sort (nor written a national constitution) with the consent or ratification of the ‘Canadian’ people (see the ‘democracy article) and therefore Quebec has never faced any obstacle (legal or otherwise) to operate distinctly on it’s own. Following that …
On November 23, 1976 a letter was sent to Premier Rene Levesque (Quebec’s Patron Saint of Separation) right after his election. The letter was from Walter F. Kuhl (MP Jasper-Edson 1935 – 1949) and in that letter Mr. Levesque was provided with all the documentation necessary (including the details of the above) which would have allowed him to take Quebec on its own immediately and without repercussion. With that proof in hand, Mr. Levesque did NOTHING …because the threat of Quebec separation, held over the heads of an uninformed public who were (are) under-informed, gullible and all too willing to just believe what spills out of politicians at a podium, was just TOO BIG A CASH COW to walk away from …something that has been proven over and again between cash transfers (legitimate and fraudulent) in addition to all the special considerations not extended to any other province.

Skeptical, oh fellow feudal serfs? If so simply do a little homework and read the Official Record of House of Commons Debates …Hansard. The edition you will want to read is November 8th, 1945 where Mr. Kuhl addressed Parliament with all the facts.

Tonight, the Dithering Duke Paul Martin will take to the air waves in an attempt to convince Canada that he’s OK, they’re OK and if we’ll let them keep their jobs WE will be OK too …and will explain to us the Big ‘C’ corruption is preferable to Little ‘C’ Conservatives.

Can’t you just image how the speech will start out? …

“Good evening my fellow Easterners …ohhh, ummm …I meant CANADIANS …NO I really DID mean Canadians …someone changed my speech when I wasn’t looking …I don’t know who it was and its not my job to check my own speeches! ….”

And on and on and on it goes because we all know where the vote-rich seats are!

If only we serfs were as interested in our own history as we are in that of our southern cousins! Somehow I think we live rather vicariously through them ...yet are jealous of them at the same time!

Must be the 'Canadian identity schism' that’s grown from the lowly hyphen ...[Whatever]-Canadian ...much as a lowly virus causes Bird Flu ...the consequences either way are weakness and sickness (not to mention the fact that we're getting plucked along the way!) But I digress!

Let me tell you, fellow Serfs, it's no accident that we are so divided amongst ourselves. Our Masters long ago figured out that to secure their grasp on the throne firmly, it was imperative that the peasant class (us) spend more time suspecting and quarreling with each other than keeping an eye on the ruling class, their vassals and cohorts!

So along came the hyphen, wrapped in a shiny package, tied with a big red bow, labeled “Multiculturalism Canada” ...'divide and dominate' perhaps? Behold the peasant class arguing amongst themselves about who is getting more or less goodies, attention, consideration, rights, favours and recognition, to mention a few. Thank goodness for the Charter of Rights …the document written for us and handed down from on-high by the Great Prophet Trudeau – because it clarifies issues and solves all this bickering so efficiently!

I must concede that we serfs of Canada have a good excuse therein for not closely studying the history of the land ...we're too pre-occupied defending our future needs to explore the facts of history that would explain the difficulties of tomorrow ...another schism!

Well at least it's our own schism! However, the downside is that we are not paying attention to what is, and what has over a long time, been going on right beneath our noses. On those rare occasions when we have questioned something, more often than not our Masters have told us its ‘none of our business’, and that we should just ‘toil quietly and pay the taxes due to our Masters on time!’

We operate today, and everyday, in accordance with a false understanding of our own history, and particularly about who the real masters are …namely us, the ones who now fulfill the role of ‘feudal serfs!’

We believe that Elizabeth is the Queen of Canada and that Adrienne is her proxy. We believe we have a Constitution. We believe we live in a democracy where we (the people) have some say in how this country operates, and in what direction it is developing. All false beliefs!

How could Elizabeth be our Queen (let alone Adrienne her proxy) when England sent us off on our own in 1931, and gave us our complete independence from them when the Statute of Westminster was signed? The Statute of What? You ask! Its a small piece of paper … with huge power …our power.

Where is the “Canadian Constitution” we hear about? What document is that? When was it written and by whom? Some insist it’s what used to be called the British North America (BNA) Act. There’s some twisted history for you … because the BNA was canceled, along with English rule, right there in the Statute of Westminster as well! Since that time, scour history as much as you like, there is no record of the people of Canada drafting and approving an actual constitution!

All of which addresses the third falsehood … What democracy? In a democracy the people write and collectively ratify the rules (a constitution) …then elected ‘employees’ live by those rules! That’s the way a “democracy” works …should work. Not in Canada apparently.

The “rules” have been written along the way by those for whom the ballot tolls ...the politicians. And since we have never written or ratified a constitution since 1931, we have never given ‘government’ a set of rules to operate within on our behalves. Consequently, the politicians have done this “for us” (for themselves more correctly) along the way … rules handed down by a small cadre of people claiming power and governance are hardly ‘democracy’.

Perhaps this explains the accountability deficit that is rampant in ‘government’ …not to mention the abuses. Perhaps it explains why ‘representation’ is so skewed regionally. It definitely explains why we are the serfs …because we have allowed this situation to occur over time through gullibility, through ignorance of our own history, and through apathy about gathering together and taking control of the situation … but then again, we do have those hyphens to keep us busy!

So here we have our feudal land …we can’t truly own what’s under our feet, we can’t keep but a small portion of the fruits of our labour, and we have no say about being fleeced, nickeled and dimed or paying taxes on tax because there is no real penalty for anything our masters foist upon us. No surprise there ..they wrote the rules for themselves …and we serfs are expected to just be quiet, orderly and to remit to Caesar (accurately and on time) lest we be figuratively flogged by the minions of they who wrote the rules. No democracy here!

The Feudal Serf - An introduction

This is a site is all about commentary… political commentary. You may wonder where the title "Feudal Serf" comes into it. The answer is because our ‘democracy’ is more a word than an actual fact.

Feudal System Definition

The average person believes we have a genuine democracy, and believes that having a ballot in his or her hand every so many years proves it. The only thing it really proves is that we have the ‘appearance’ of a democracy … whereas in the real world our democracy more resembles a feudal system!

I heard the gasp at my heresy, so instead of just taking my words at face value, read how feudalism is described and explained by the experts, then re-read my statement and see how you feel about it then!

As we are (in reality) a feudal society for all intents and purposes, we, the common people, are relegated to be spectators more so than participants in the development of our society, and in the day to day management of our national, regional and local affairs!

Our ‘elected’ bodies and individuals have elevated themselves from the position of ‘elected office’ to that of ‘lord and master’, and we, the feudal serfs, are told to shut up and pay up. We are expected to supplicate to those who are actually nothing more than our elected ‘employees’, and gratefully accept that which they deem we are entitled to have, keep, own or do. So much for Anglo-Saxon Common Law and the Magna Carta!!

Our ‘elected employees’ and their vassals (the civil service) – considering themselves our betters – disregard laws, falsify books and espouse blatant falsehoods routinely. Furthermore they demand levels of accountability from the ‘serf class’ (their de facto employers) that far exceeds any degree of accountability they are prepared to provide in return … to their employers. Who works for whom?

With this in mind, this web site turns it’s eyes upon the everyday news that leaves most of us shaking our heads and wondering;

Who do they (governments of all stripe) think they are?
What on earth were they thinking?
Do they expect us to actually believe that? and
What are they really up to?

…just to name just a few of the routine questions that pop up as we spectators watch in horror the abuses and inanities of those we hire to manage our national, regional and local affairs.
